ONDO price slipped modestly as traders monitored key support levels, while a popular crypto analyst maintained a bullish long-term outlook. Despite weakening short-term momentum, technical indicators suggest the token remains in a broader consolidation phase, with investors watching for signs of renewed strength in the RWA sector.

ONDO price came under slight pressure on August 1 due to selling actions; however, according to a well-known crypto analyst, the recent decline is likely to be one aspect of a larger setup in the long term and not the end of the ONDO success story. As the ONDO price dropped over the last 24 hours, technicals show that the token is currently supporting a significant support level.

At the time of writing, ONDO is trading at $0.3875, down 2.63% over the last 24 hours. The token recorded $147.70 million in daily trading volume and held a market capitalization of approximately $1.89 billion, keeping it among the leading real-world asset (RWA) focused cryptocurrencies.

ONDO Price Builds Long-Term Bullish Structure

Crypto analyst Crypto Patel, on August 1, 2026, expressed an optimistic view on ONDO, explaining that major retracements can actually be a common occurrence within bull markets, and that it does not mean that the bull market is over.

According to Patel, “A 90% correction doesn’t end bull markets; it creates great entries.

According to him, ONDO is building an underlying structure that, in the long run, can help it rally towards the $5-$10 range if the market continues to improve in the next few years.

This prediction is made through long-term analysis of charts, not a short-term goal. These ranges could be achieved depending on various factors, including strong performance of the crypto market, increased usage of Ondo Finance, and development of the tokenized assets market.

ONDO Price Momentum Shows Mixed Signals

Based on current technical analysis, ONDO price is still trading in a balanced trend even though buying pressure has reduced following its latest upturn.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently trading at 54.67 with the signal line at 60.51. When an RSI is above 50, it usually shows that buyers still hold the upper hand. But when the RSI falls below the signal line, it shows a slowdown in momentum from previous periods.

The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) technical indicator confirms that as well. Currently, the MACD line is hovering around 0.01591 and is only slightly higher than the signal line, which is at 0.01564; meanwhile, the MACD histogram has shrunk to 0.00027.

Even though the MACD is still marginally in positive territory, the decreasing histogram implies a reduction in buying momentum, which often results in the ONDO price range-bound action.

What Investors Should Watch Next

From the perspective of current investors, the most recent price movement indicates that the market is merely taking a break from its earlier pattern and not signaling any sort of reversal in the trend.

Partnerships, improvements to ecosystems, and the increasing popularity of Ondo Finance’s tokenization may also affect the ONDO price in the coming months. Although the long-term target of $5 to $10 is speculative, further growth in the RWA market may be expected to bolster its price if the crypto market is favorable.
