SEI price is trading near a major long-term demand zone as derivatives activity shows renewed market participation. Analysts say holding current support could strengthen the recovery outlook, while a move above key resistance may confirm a broader bullish trend in the coming months.

SEI price stayed constant as the asset kept hovering around a key long-term support level, which some market experts are calling a potential key turning point for the asset.

Although the asset is still well below its highest-ever price seen so far, the improved derivatives signals have once again made analysts question whether the asset is building up momentum.

At the time of writing, SEI is trading at $0.04630, up 1.09% over the last 24 hours. The token recorded a 24-hour trading volume of $22.88 million, while its market capitalization stood at $339.64 million, showing stable activity despite the recent market swings.

SEI Price Enters Key Demand Zone

On July, 23,2026, a crypto analyst, Crypto Patel, provided his view on X, where he mentions that the current trading range of SEI is a “do or die” demand zone for SEI. The analyst states that the cryptocurrency has lost nearly 96% of its value compared to its record high of $1.145.

Patel thinks that the range of $0.046 to $0.036 is an area of high interest accumulation in which long-term players can start accumulating. However, Patel mentioned that the signal of a trend change is yet to come.

In accordance with the analyst, the SEI price would have to rise back to $0.081 on the weekly chart and make sure of the **Change of Character (CHoCH) for the uptrend to start. Once that occurs, according to the analyst, there are upside targets of $0.125, $0.35, $0.70, and finally above $1 during 2026-2027.

The downside to all of this is that the outlook will become void in case SEI ends up with a closing price below $0.030 for the week.

Derivatives Data Shows Rising Market Interest

Additionally, recent derivatives statistics suggest increasing participation for SEI. Open interest has risen by 4.78% to $50.36 million, thus reflecting an increase in positions taken on the futures market. Simultaneously, the trading volume has risen by 11.98% to $40.00 million.

The OI weighted funding rate stayed positive at 0.0033%, meaning buyers are making a small payment to stay long. Funding rates are still very low, which means that there is measured optimism rather than over-leveraging.

Taken together, all these statistics show that investors have started to be more active, but within controlled amounts of leverage.

Can SEI Price Keep Its Recovery Alive?

The next big test for SEI will come when it has to maintain itself above its present support level while also facing the resistance at $0.081 pointed out by Crypto Patel.

If they manage to recover to that level on a weekly close basis, then there will be improvement in technical sentiment and move focus to the upside levels mentioned above. But if the coin fails to hold above $0.030, then the positive outlook for the asset will no longer remain valid.

For the moment, SEI price remains one of the most technically interesting stocks, with the help of price movement as well as options activity hinting that the upcoming period may prove to be very significant for its future course.
