Shiba Inu is ready to unveil several thrilling projects as the Blockchain Futurist Conference nears. Unlike in 2023, this year, the meme coin project is not just the sponsor of the event but will also organize various exciting activities. One of the main highlights is the keenly anticipated hackathon hosted by K9 Finance, the liquid staking derivative platform on Shibarium. Here, participants will face real-world challenges, and the key is to provide solutions harnessing Shibarium’s power that may reshape the blockchain industry.
This would be a groundbreaking thing, bringing in innovation, nurturing talent, and fostering community building. Delving into the event, Buzz, the pseudonymous founder of K9 Finance, said, “It is a one-to-many marketing approach to market directly to developers to start building DeFi products on Shibarium. Of course, we want these products to integrate with K9’s products.”
With regards to the intended goal of participating in this event, Buzz shared, “As a DAO, we would like to see many products being deployed to Puppynet and encourage builders to deploy useful products to Shibarium Mainnet to add utility and integrations for K9.” Beyond the hackathon, the Shib ecosystem’s IRL products store, based in Canada, will be displayed at the Shib booth again this year.
Shiba Inu: NFC Prototypes and More
Shibacals, one of the first official partnerships, will spearhead the drive. In addition to offering users unique collectibles, the main purpose of Shibacals is to unite different communities and projects within the ecosystem by helping them produce IRL representations of their brands. Some of the partners that would collaborate with Shibcals include Shiba Inu’s top projects, such as Bad Idea AI and Mantra Protocol.
Additionally, Shibacals is gearing up to reveal two highly anticipated prototypes as part of its second year of participation in the Futurist Conference. The prototypes will be based on NFC technology, aiming to provide a surprise utility for the Shiba Inu community,” stated Sentinel, co-founder of Shibacals, to The Shib. Furthermore, Shibacals plans to launch additional projects this year due to many Shib projects being excluded last year, as is typical during the exploration phase of any endeavor.
