SUI price is consolidating near the $0.67-$0.70 range as buyers attempt to stabilize the token after an extended decline. Holding above $0.673 could support a recovery toward $0.702 and $0.722, although weak momentum indicators suggest that a confirmed trend reversal has yet to emerge.

SUI price is consolidating following an extended period of a declining trend, with the support level playing an important role for any future recovery. Indicators continue to show weakness in SUI despite the initial signs of improved momentum.

At the time of writing, SUI is trading at $0.6851, with a 24-hour trading volume of about $259.16 million and a market capitalization of roughly $2.80 billion. The token has gained 0.52% over the last 24 hours.

SUI Price Eyes Recovery as Support Holds

On August 12, 2026, a crypto analyst, BitGuru, shared the technical analysis that indicated that the $0.67-$0.70 range was a significant consolidation area after the downward trend. As per the technical picture, staying above $0.673 could allow SUI to reach up to $0.702, while $0.722 could become yet another resistance point.

SUI Price Faces Key Resistance Near $0.70

The range between $0.67 and $0.70 has become a crucial one for SUI as the coin has tried to find stability after losing some ground. Any move above the $0.70 level would be a good sign that the selling pressures are subsiding.

Yet, SUI price is still required to overcome some technical hurdles in order to validate the bigger reversal formation. The first target to consider is at $0.702 and then $0.722. A breakout of these two levels will help to create a positive structure in the short term, whereas a breakdown below $0.673 might attract interest toward the downside.

SUI Momentum Remains Weak

Technical analysis indicates that the rally attempt is in the early phase. SUI is currently trading near $0.68569, which is below the middle line of the Bollinger Bands that stands near $0.68972. The top line is near $0.71453, while the bottom line is near $0.66492.

Given that the price is near the bottom line, there has been no clear domination by the bulls in this case. A breach above the middle line can be considered a significant short-term signal. Otherwise, the token may continue trading in its range.

However, even the MACD looks rather inconclusive. Thus, the MACD line shows -0.01160 compared to the signal line at -0.01344. Despite the positive value of the histogram at 0.00184, which may imply that the momentum has improved slightly, both major lines stay below zero.

This implies that the recent increase is not enough to reverse the prevailing trend. On the contrary, the situation seems to demonstrate that the selling pressure might weaken.

What SUI Holders Should Watch Next

The first question that needs to be resolved is whether the SUI price is able to hold at $0.673 and recover to the area of $0.689-$0.70. Retesting the support level would continue the recovery case discussed by BitGuru, while breaking the resistance level at $0.702 could push the price higher towards $0.722.

To the downside, breaking below $0.673 will undermine the case and may result in a return to the lower end of the current price range of about $0.665.

In summary, for SUI investors, the bottom line is that the coin looks to be forming an initial foundation, although the technical analysis does not indicate that a trend reversal has been formed just yet.
