Crypto Maverick BitBoy Armstrong’s Arrest Shocks Crypto Community

September 27, 2023 by Aishwarya shashikumar

In a shocking turn of events, crypto influencer Ben “BitBoy” Armstrong found himself on the wrong side of the law during a live-streamed confrontation outside the residence of his former business partner, Carlos Diaz. The incident took place on a tense evening that unfolded in front of a captivated online audience.

Armstrong, who had teased the live stream earlier in the day, wasted no time launching into a dramatic tirade once he arrived at Diaz’s doorstep. He alleged that Diaz was in possession of his prized Lamborghini and accused him of having connections to the Houston mafia, claiming that Diaz had threatened his life.

The situation escalated when local police arrived at the scene, responding to reports of Armstrong’s livestream. They questioned him about the presence of any weapons, to which he responded in the negative. The stream abruptly cut off as Armstrong was ordered to put down his phone. Although video footage ceased, audio recordings captured a heated exchange between Armstrong and the officers.

A subsequent search of the Gwinnett County, Georgia, Sheriff’s Office revealed that a Benjamin Charles Armstrong had been booked and was currently incarcerated as of September 25, 9:11 pm local time, confirming Armstrong’s arrest.

In a strange twist, Carlos Diaz later took to social media to confirm that Armstrong had indeed shown up at his residence. The details of what transpired after Armstrong’s arrest remain shrouded in mystery.

Crypto Community Divided Over BitBoy’s Donation Plea

This bizarre incident follows a series of tumultuous events in Armstrong’s life, including his separation from the Hit Network, which controls the “BitBoy Crypto” brand. The network cited issues related to substance abuse and financial harm to employees as the reasons behind their split. This rift led to several lawsuits, both filed and subsequently withdrawn, involving various parties associated with Armstrong.

Adding to the drama, Armstrong had recently solicited donations from the crypto community to aid in his legal battles, further dividing his followers. The community’s response to his request ranged from support to skepticism, reflecting the controversial nature of his career and personal life.

As more information emerges surrounding this shocking arrest and its implications for Armstrong’s future, the crypto world watches with bated breath, uncertain of what the future holds for the enigmatic “BitBoy.”

XRP’s Path to Millionaire Status: Bitboy Advocates a Conservative Stance for Success

May 16, 2023 by Aditya

In a recent video, Bitboy, a well-known crypto influencer also known as Ben Armstrong, revealed the quantity of XRP, which are tokens on the Ripple network, that a cryptocurrency investor needs to possess in order to become a millionaire.

According to Armstrong’s perspective, in order to achieve millionaire status in the digital asset, a cryptocurrency enthusiast should possess 150,000 units of Ripple tokens. Predictably, this statement sparked a heated discussion within the crypto community, prompting various responses. Some individuals conducted polls to gauge the collective wisdom of the crypto community, seeking valuable insights on the subject.

Jenna, a renowned influencer in the XRP community, conducted a poll that garnered a significant response from digital asset enthusiasts. Interestingly, the majority of respondents expressed the belief that acquiring fewer than 150,000 units of XRP is sufficient to achieve millionaire status.

Furthermore, among the respondents, a notable 62.5% expressed the opinion that they require fewer than 150,000 units of digital assets to achieve their desired millionaire status. In contrast, the runner-up group, with 22.6% of the votes, believed that the figure of 150,000 units aligns with their expectations.

Bitboy’s Insights on XRP: Reacting to the Ever-Changing Crypto Landscape

Nevertheless, Armstrong issued a cautionary statement, emphasizing the significance of adopting a conservative approach in light of the poll’s outcome. Bitboy’s remarks came after his own estimation that owning 150,000 units of XRP would lead to millionaire status. Acknowledging the result, Armstrong warned against excessive optimism in predictions, underscoring the potential negative consequences that can arise from being overly enthusiastic.

Drawing from lessons learned during the previous bull run, Armstrong emphasized the significance of adopting a more conservative mindset. He highlighted the potential pitfalls of succumbing to ambitious predictions, as they can give rise to unrealistic expectations and potentially harm investors.

He said: “I learned one thing from the last bull run – being more conservative never hurt anyone. Being too aggressive with predictions can hurt people.”

Significantly, in order for 150,000 XRP to result in millionaire status, the value of the coin would need to exceed $6.7. At the present price of approximately $0.4271, acquiring 150,000 XRP would require an investment of around $65,000.

In contrast, Edward Farina, a crypto enthusiast, expressed an optimistic perspective on XRP, proposing that possessing 10,000 XRP tokens could potentially lead to achieving financial freedom. This differs from Bitboy’s suggestion of accumulating 150,000 XRP tokens.

Trader’s Taunt: Bitcoin Trader Mocks BitBoy’s Crypto Analysis

In a recent report by TheCryptoBasic, it was highlighted that a well-known Bitcoin trader named Nebraskan Gooner mocked BitBoy regarding his suggestions on achieving millionaire status with XRP. Gooner shared a screenshot of an article that featured BitBoy’s two-step approach, which involved creating a token and using the resulting funds to purchase $1 million worth of XRP.

Although Gooner’s taunt may have been unrelated to the article, his attention was directed towards BitBoy’s recent involvement with the newly launched BEN meme coin. Gooner hinted that BitBoy might engage in a rug-pull of the BEN coin project, aligning with the concerns expressed by others in the community.

XRP: Elon Musk’s Tweet Triggers Spate Of Jokes And Memes

April 12, 2023 by Lipika Deka

XRP community is amused, thanks to the cryptic tweet posted by tech mogul and Twitter CEO Elon Musk that consists of a single letter, X.

Although Musk has never mentioned XRP in the tweets nor confirmed exactly what he was referring to, this did not deter XRP fans to jump into the meme fest in the hopes of grabbing his attention.

Chiming in first was the popular XRP advocate @MackAttackXRP who responded to Musk’s tweets with the ticker symbol of the token.

Several others jokingly tweeted other letters of the English alphabet in response, while a few speculated that it could also mean the name of Musk’s child. The SpaceX CEO is renowned for naming his children with eccentric names such as X AE A-XII or Y.

However, some of his followers tweeted that the crypto multi-billionaire might have referred to his other venture called X Corp based in San Francisco – the same city where Twitter’s headquarter is.

The firm was recently cited in court documents, and reports claim it could take over Twitter.

In spite of this, Musk continues to be devoted only to the meme cryptocurrency Dogecoin, which he considers to be the currency of the people and more suitable for payments than Bitcoin. Musk previously offered his support to Ripple in its continuing legal struggle with the SEC.

At present, the Tesla chief holds BTC and ETH, besides DOGE.

Meanwhile, outspoken YouTuber and cryptocurrency enthusiast Ben Armstrong, commonly known by the handle BitBoy, came to Twitter recently to express his views on the possibilities of XRP overtaking its competitors.

XRP could be the top Altcoin

According to BitBoy’s tweet, XRP will probably end up being the best-performing alternative coin of the upcoming bull run as long as the token receives a favorable settlement and there is no further appeal,

Additionally, he asserted that restrictions on the sixth-ranked coin are no longer possible because the regulatory challenges that the cryptocurrency encountered may be coming to an end.

In my opinion, as long as XRP gets at least a favorable settlement and no appeal, this will be the number one performing major coin of the next bull run. The suppression is almost over.

This tweet generated a lot of discussion and interest from the cryptocurrency community.

As the BitBoy vs. Atozy Lawsuit Came to an End, Ripple CTO Sheds His Views

August 26, 2022 by Goku

BitBoy vs. Atozy has several people including Ripple CTO talking about it. Ben Armstrong, the creator of Bitboy Crypto, declared that he is dropping his defamation case against fellow YouTube content creator Erling Mengshoel Jr., better known by his stage name Atozy.

In response to the November 2021 video “This YouTuber exploits his following…,” Armstrong formally sued Mengshoel on August 12. Armstrong was charged with dishonestly promoting fraudulent assets to his audience, such as PAMP, for his own gain, according to “Bitboy Crypto.” He also demanded  $75,000 in compensation.

However, Armstrong did hint during a live webcast on Wednesday that he is now dropping the accusation now that Mengshoel has amassed more than $200,000 for his defense.

Ripple CTO stated that BitBoy was misled by his lawyers

In response to the legal conflict between well-known crypto YouTuber Ben Armstrong (BitBoy) and Erling Mengshoel (Atozy), Ripple’s CTO David Schwartz has chimed in.

“So, about the BitBoy andAtozy lawsuit: It looks like everyone is doing the right thing now. And as I suspected, it seems Ben was misled by his lawyers who *definitely* should have known better. Yay for happy endings.”

Mengshoel was able to unite the crypto community behind him and launch a successful GoFundMe campaign to pay for his legal costs.

He claimed that he was being sued for nothing more than expressing his viewpoint. Additionally, the frequency of YouTube videos accusing Armstrong of unethical crypto advertising has increased.

Armstrong claims that if he had realized the lawsuit would garner such attention, he would not have filed it.

The crypto YouTuber clarified that he initially filed the complaint to get Mengshoel to take down the video, and he hinted that he had no intention of actually going through with the legal procedures.

Atozy now has enough money to cover legal costs, according to BitBoy, and the conflict has grown more complicated than he had anticipated as a result of a well-known crypto trader like Cobie, who donated $100,000.

BitBoy Backs Down From Lawsuit, Atozy Raises $200,000

August 25, 2022 by Goku

The founder of Bitboy Crypto, Ben Armstrong, announced that he is withdrawing his defamation lawsuit against fellow YouTube content producer Erling Mengshoel Jr., also known as Atozy.

On August 12, Armstrong formally filed a lawsuit against Mengshoel in reaction to the Nov 2021 video “This YouTuber exploits his audience… According to “Bitboy Crypto,” Armstrong was accused of dishonestly pushing dubious assets to his audience, such as PAMP, for his own advantage. He was asking for $75,000 in compensation for the experience.

Armstrong did, however, imply during a live stream on Wednesday that he is now withdrawing the charge after Mengshoel was able to gather more than $200,000 for his defense.

“So we are gonna drop the lawsuit, 100% and I’m sorry this became public, I’m sorry that this has been misconstrued, but I just want you guys to understand why I was doing this. This was not about a slapstick lawsuit.”

Bitboy just wanted the video to be taken down

The cryptocurrency YouTuber explained that his initial goal in filing the complaint was to have Mengshoel remove the video, and he implied that he didn’t intend to actually pursue the legal processes.

BitBoy clarified that Atozy now has enough money to handle legal fees, and the fight has become more complicated than he originally expected as a result of well-known crypto trader/podcasters like Cobie who gave $100,000 as a donation.

Commenting on the situation, Atozy claims that there is still work to be done because he needs his attorney’s official confirmation that the case has been rejected with “prejudice.”

In his tweet, he wrote, “I’m assured by my lawyer that if it is not with prejudice he can refile at any moment. Once the official confirmation has gone through, he will reimburse all the money to everyone who gave it to the cause.

From what I’ve heard Bitboy will be pulling the lawsuit.

I’m blown away from the support.
In less than 24 hours we raised roughly $200,000 USD

Once I have the confirmation it’s officially pulled. I will be refunding everyone who donated.

Thank you guys for saving me.
