PledgeCrypto Adds More Than 130 Crypto Payment Options for Ariana Grande’s Trans Fundraiser

April 13, 2022 by Goku

PledgeCrypto is an innovative fundraising platform Ariana Grande used for Trans Day of Visibility. It now allows nonprofits to raise funds using more than 130 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH), and Tether, which are instantly converted to fiat (USD), removing the need for nonprofits to manage crypto wallets or keep up with market changes.

Grande has offered to match up to $1.5 million in donations to her Protect and Defend Trans Youth Fund, which she founded on March 31st.

“Today, over 300 million individuals across the world hold cryptocurrencies and want to support organizations they care about more than ever,” says James Citron, CEO of Pledge.

PledgeCrypto is innovating how donation works

PledgeCrypto is the industry’s first free, fully-integrated fiat and crypto contribution platform, with donations going directly to verified organizations, including every 501(c)(3) organization in good standing with the IRS in the United States.

PledgeCrypto is simple and quick to set up, allowing a nonprofit to take crypto donations in minutes without requiring any technical knowledge, a crypto wallet, KYC (“know your customer”), or a contract.

The Boys and Girls Club of Metro Los Angeles, Big Brothers and Big Sisters LA, Streetcode Academy, Worthy of Love, Safe Place for Youth, CoachArt, Goodie Nation, and Taraji P Henson’s Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation are among the additional nonprofit launch partners for PledgeCrypto, following the success of the campaign’s launch with Ariana Grande.

Ariana Grande’s initiative will prove to be a great support to defend and protect trans youth.

Pledge is also creating a first-of-its-kind function that will assist verified carbon offset projects via the United Nations Climate Neutral Now Initiative to compensate for the environmental effect of crypto mining and transactions.

PledgeCrypto is simple to set up and use, allowing a nonprofit to begin receiving crypto donations in minutes with no prior technical knowledge.

Any user may create a fundraiser page to take crypto donations for a specific campaign or cause that unites several organizations. They can embed a donation form and button directly on a website, all of which can be accessed through the nonprofit’s Impact Hub.

With Pledge, campaigns and organizations that need to set up a donation option can easily do so.
