Pornhub Now Accepts Tether [USDT] As Website Begins To Tackle PayPal Pullout

January 23, 2020 by Akash Anand

Mass adoption of cryptocurrency has always been helped along by companies adding them to their fold. Pornhub, the largest entertainment website on the planet has turned out to be one of the most avid players in the cryptocurrency field.

Pornhub recently announced that they will be launching an array of payment options for its customers soon. These cryptocurrency payment options are expected to make purchases on the website easier and faster.

The adult entertainment website revealed that from January 24, 2020, onwards, the website will begin accepting USDT, Cosmo Payment as well as direct deposits. This was developed as a workaround Paypal’s decision to stop payouts to thousands of models in November 2019.

Pornhub claimed that the payments have to be fair and the integration of cryptocurrency will only make it faster and easier to conduct transactions. Pornhub had added TRX as a form of payment in 2018 and Justin Sun, the CEO of Tron lost no time in praising the website for its latest decision. Sun had tweeted:

“If you’re on @Pornhub , stop what you’re doing. #USDT is now an option for models on Pornhub! Pornhub is using USDT-TRON to support models seeking payment solutions. This is a brilliant way to support the victims of centralized payment platforms like PayPal. #TRON #TRX”

Pornhub stated that USDT was added to its roster because of how users can conduct transactions globally within a few seconds and free of cost. The USDT-Tron partnership was on full show here too, as Pornhub models can be paid securely through Tronlink. Tronlink is a popular Tron wallet that focuses majorly on security and the cryptocurrency’s infrastructure.

Once the Tronlink wallet is set up, all users need to do is to click on the ‘USDT’ option and then start transactions. Another payment method integrated by Pornhub was Cosmo Payment, a free and safe global access system. According to the Pornhub website:

“It’s [Cosmo Payments] free, safe, and offers global access, meaning you can withdraw from your local ATM machine, make online and in-store purchases wherever debit and credit cards are accepted, and view your bank statements online or with the Cardportal app.”

Pornhub also expanded its direct deposit spectrum to Australia and Puerto Rico. This latest feature only works if the user has an Australian or Puerto Rican address and if the bank account deals in AUD or USD.
The latest addition of cryptocurrencies comes after PayPal decided to completely stop paying the Pornhub models for the videos. This had caused quite a furor in the community as the decision was taken with no warning.
Several countries across the globe have asked payment services to not facilitate adult websites due to a string of problems. Some reports have shown that the money sent through adult websites such as Pornhub is sometimes redirected for malicious activities such as drug and human trafficking.
Cryptocurrency enthusiasts believe that adding a stablecoin to Pornhub would give the power back to the sender and the receiver. The community is now waiting for the transactions to take place so that they can track the real positive effect of capital movement outside of cryptocurrency exchanges.

Tron CEO Justin Sun names TronLink as the best wallet on Google Play

June 12, 2019 by Naveed Iqbal

Not too long ago, Justin Sun, founder and CEO of Tron blockchain, took to Google Play to express his satisfaction and approval of TronLink as the best Tron Wallet in the world today.

Notably, TronLink is one of the easiest to use crypto wallets, specifically for TRX, and the Tron platform, Trx.market, uses for its coin trading. Most decentralized applications in the platform are fully compatible with TronLink; in fact, many of the network’s applications require users to have TronLink to access them.

Apart from being Tron’s preferred virtual wallet, TronLink is also a trendy one and as noted above, easy to install as users need an internet browser extension that is found in Google Chrome and Chromium if you are using Linux. It takes less than a minute to install in your web browser.

This is excellent news to crypto lovers as it means that if a TronLink account is so easy to access and recommended by no other than the visionary CEO Justin Sun, it leaves no reason for more and more people to join the TronLink community.

.@TRONLink, I'm watching you! 😃😃😃 https://t.co/hseBiV0eLc

— Justin Sun (@justinsuntron) June 11, 2019

Joining the TronLink community has many advantages to users as it positions them to benefit from three milestone events that are taunted to lead TRX prices on the upward trend, at least as they crypto pundits think.

Users can access Tron blockchain right on their browser, thanks to the TronLink browser extension

Back in July, the developers of TronWatch announced the creation of TronLink after the successful launch of Tron’s Mainnet. The idea behind the development of TronLink wallet was to make it easy for users to access the Tron blockchain from the comfort of their internet browser, in a manner that is similar to how MetaMask does with Ethereum’s platform.

Developers also stand a chance to benefit from TronLink as they will now be able to develop and interact with DApps in their internet browser of choice. The result of this is that developers can now easily interact with the smart contracts they develop for their Decentralized Applications (DApps). At the moment, Google Chrome, Brave, and Mozilla Firefox support TronLink wallet application on their platforms.

Where can Users Find and Download the Current Updated Version of TronLink?

According to the team at TronWatch, developers need to know that TronLink’s latest available version is in its Beta stage of development. This means that the current TronLink wallet in circulation is not the final version, anyone willing to try it out, should know this before downloading and using the application.

Internet users who are willing to download and use the app can find the Internet Browser extension at the Chrome Store and Mozilla’s Firefox Add-on page. Also, users can use the TronLink app inside the Brave Browser.

For individuals installing the extension for the first time, they need to enter their password twice to confirm their identity. Once this is done, individuals will be required to give a backup phrase that they can use in cases where they want to recover their application, and funds should the need arise. After availing the backup phrase, users will then be asked to import their wallet. It is essential to back up your wallet before using TronLink, considering it’s still in its Beta stage.

Information Concerning the Creators of TronLink, TronWatch

The management and staff members of TronWatch seem to have a clear vision and goal on where they want to go, and that is building the first fully-featured decentralized exchange that functions on the Tron platform. Parties will be able to exchange TRX and other Tron-based assets such as TRX10 and TRX20 on the platform.

The project’s token sale got completed last year (on October 29th, 2018 to be specific). Since the very first month of this year, May 2019, TronWatch Market DEX (tronwatch.market), is also online. So the project has done warming up and is running smoothly already. Also, at the press time, the price of one TronWatchMarket virtual asset is about 0.5 TRX.

TRX Price Analysis

At present, the entire crypto market is recovering today after going in grief yesterday due to the unprecedented fall of prices across the crypto-board. Many crypto analysts blamed the fall of Bitcoin for the recent worrying situation of Tron and other leading altcoins.

As we write this, Tron (TRX) stands at $0.03145 after gaining 1.4% in the last 24-hours. The hourly chat of Sun-led crypto is red; the same is the case with the weekly one as it lost 9.7% of its value in the last seven days. Since the news of Warren Buffet lunch has become old now, Tron needs to look for something new to support its growth story.

Editor’s note: We had to update the article after TronWatch reached to us to inform that they have had completed their ICO.

Best Tron wallet TronLink to have three rounds of rewards this month

May 4, 2019 by Naveed Iqbal

TronLink is one of the leading digital wallets when it comes to Tronix (TRX) and the Tron network. Most decentralized apps in the network are fully compatible with it (actually, having TronLink is required to use many of them).

It’s also trendy because it’s so easy to install and use: it’s a Google Chrome (or Chromium, if you’re in Linux) browser extension. It takes less than half a minute to install. And that is excellent news because it means that if it’s so easy to get (also as an app) a TronLink account that you will have no excuse to join the TronLink community and take advantage of three events during the month that will allow you to earn some TRX.

In this article, we tell you all you need to know about the three rounds of rewards that TronLink has for you during this month.

First Event

It started on May 1st and will end on May 5th at 13:00 (Hong Kong time). This event will give you five days to import your own TRX wallet into TronLink, or you can transfer some of your TRX tokens to TronLink. Mind you, frozen coins do not count.

The top ten TRX holders in TronLink will get the following rewards in Tronix: 10000, 6000, 4000, 3000, 2000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000, 1000 TRX rewards.

🔥DAY 3 of #TronLink Events🔥, 100,000 #TRX rewards!🔥 https://t.co/1HE32sV8bA

— TronLink (@TronLinkWallet) May 3, 2019

If you’re not among the top then but your wallet has more than a thousand TRX, you’ll be rewarded with 30 TRX. It’s one reward per device only. This reward will be distributed until a 30.000,000 TRX limit is reached on a first come first served basis.

The wallet snapshot that will decide everything will be taken on May 5th at noon, Hong Kong time.

Second event

It starts on the next day (May 6th) and it will last until May 10th at noon (again, Hong Kong time).

If you want to have a shot at the rewards in this second event the way to go is to use your TRX and trade in TRX Market using TronLink. The more TRX you use to trade, the better chances you have of being rewarded.

The rewards will come as follows:

  • – 5k TRX
  • – 3k TRX
  • – 2k TRX
  • 4 – 10.- 500 TRX
  • 11 – 59.- 250 TRX
  • 51 – 150.- 65 TRX

The relevant snapshot will happen on May 10th at noon, Hong Kong time.

Third event

From May 1st to May 10th at noon, Hong Kong time.

Just open your Twitter account, follow TronLink and retweet the post corresponding to the event. Ten users will be rewarded with 500 TRX.

Other things you need to know.

If you qualify for one of the airdrops, you’ll get the reward before five working days after May 10th. It will be sent to your TronLink address. Also, taking a snapshot from a network as big as TronLink takes time. So if you want to be in the picture, don’t move! In other words: On May 5th and May 10th, leave your TronLink wallet alone from noon to, say, 13:00, Hong Kong time so you can be sure the snapshot of your account is accurate.

If you want to be eligible for rewards you need to operate from the TronLink app only. That means that if you’re using the Chrome extension, you’re out of the competition. Or at least not included.  The silver prize for the first event can be redeemed once only.

Last but not least, the final say on any issue related to these three events is the TronLink’s team.

So load up your TronLink through your app and join the fun!
