Shiba Inu: Lead Dev Gives A Peep Into ‘Shibarium Beta Launch’

January 21, 2023 by Aishwarya shashikumar

Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous chief developer of the Shiba Inu meme coin, has not tweeted frequently so far this year. Aside from a positive outlook on the Layer 2 protocol’s future, he has not been tweeting about the forthcoming launch of Shibarium.

However, only recently, it appears that he indirectly posted a message. He recently changed something in his Twitter bio, indicating that the beta version of Shibarium is truly about to be released as promised.

He is “learning to play the flute before putting Shibarium in a heart-shaped box with a bow,” Shytoshi Kusama wrote in his Twitter bio. This makes me think of an Eastern gift-giving ceremony. But the mention of a flute, in particular, raises the possibility of Japan or China. The origin of his identity, Kusama, a Japanese artist he adores, is his declaration after the previous year that he appreciates Japanese art. According to his tweet, Shytoshi is named after the enigmatic person who created Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto, and stands for both “shy,” which is what it sounds like, and “Toshi.”

Both the crypto movement and the craze for authors using aliases appear to have been launched by Satoshi. Ryoshi is the pseudonym of Shiba Inu, the creator of the meme token. Strangely, Ryoshi made the decision to vanish, much like Satoshi Nakamoto, and to abandon all of their early-issued cryptocurrency.

SHIB’s chief developer goes by the name Shytoshi Kusama. He did, nevertheless, imply in one of his previous tweets that, given their agreement, he may soon reveal his real name. Another indication that Kusama may be Japanese or a fan of Eastern philosophy, which is frequently a component of the local culture, is that she has a mentor.

Could Shiba Inu’s Lead Dev Be Hinting At A Valentine’s Day Launch?

There have been speculations regarding the launch ever since Shytoshi Kusama changed his bio on Twitter. Some believe that the Beta launch could be on the most celebrated day of February, Valentine’s Day.

This line of thought comes from Kusama saying that he would put “Shibarium in a heart-shaped box with a bow.” However, this is yet another assumption. The launch date is yet to be announced leaving the Shiba Inu community eagerly waiting. Although it has been confirmed that the beta version is in its final stage.

This time, the forthcoming release of the Layer 2 protocol was announced in a blog post by Shiba Inu developers as opposed to Shytoshi, who kept reminding the community throughout 2022 that Shibarium was coming “very soon.” Shibarium’s core ideas were also covered in the post.

The key things offered to the SHIB army are minimal fees paid in meme token BONE and the ability for users to conduct as many transactions as they want at quick speeds without being congested.

These transaction costs will be partially converted to SHIB before being burned. Some members of the Shiba Inu community believe that trillions of SHIB meme coins will be destroyed weekly, if not daily, as a result of the anticipated sharp increase in the number of transfers.
