It aims to foster an effective relationship between private IT companies, governmental agencies, and academic institutions. Through this, participants are shown state-of-the-art methods in digital defense as they directly interact with experienced cybersecurity teams.

The program aims to provide hands-on education and an accredited non-degree certificate in cybersecurity. The KMUTT and the CCIB jointly developed the curriculum, focusing on hands-on practices.

The participants will also be certified as Cyber Eyes Volunteers under the CCIB, registered in KMUTT’s long-term learning system.

Tether’s Global Role in Cybersecurity Initiatives

Tether’s support is consistent with facilitating global sound use of digital assets. As the largest-issuing stablecoin crypto, Tether’s market cap is worth over $158 billion. Its base is a population of over 450 million, primarily in the emerging markets.

In recent years, the company has joined hands with more than 255 agencies in 55+ nations. The collaboration was on issues revolving around assistance in cybercrime cases, enforcement, and prevention matters. The corporation has been credited by enforcement agencies in the United States, the Netherlands, and Canada, among others.

Paolo Ardoino, Tether’s CEO, said:

As we work towards a safer and smarter global digital economy, we are excited to support initiatives like Cyber Warrior Hackathon that promote real-world learning, technological excellence, and collaboration with law enforcement.

Developing Thailand’s Future Cybersecurity Workforce

Thailand’s School Company Community Network Development paradigm is what drives this initiative. It makes innovation networks for enabling the new generation to acquire skills to counter cyberattacks.

The KMUTT Computer Engineering Department collaborated with CCIB in an effort to offer training that integrates knowledge acquired in school and hands-on experience.

Not only is Tether enhancing its presence in Asia through sponsoring the hackathon, but it is also building long-term cybersecurity infrastructure.

The partnership seals public buy-in for the utilization of blockchain technology and highlights the means through which digital asset enterprises can effectively collaborate with governments.
