Binance released an awareness statement in a global consumer empowerment campaign to the crypto community. They worked with a collection of VIPs recognized for their honesty and independence to remind consumers of their financial freedom. “Don’t listen to [celebrities] about your financial freedom, understand crypto, and believe yourself.”

Binance with its great initiative to create awareness

On February 13, the day of the Big Game, fans are invited to sound Binance’s #CryptoCelebAlert at CryptoCelebAlert.com for a chance to win one of 2,222 POAP NFTs featuring Jimmy Butler for every ad aired during the game with a celebrity “talking crypto.” They may also access an easy-to-read crypto primer to comprehend the fundamentals of crypto better.”

Many people are interested in blockchain-based products, like crypto, but relatively few know where to start when it comes to educating themselves on these new technologies. Changpeng Zhao (CZ), Founder and CEO at Binance also added, “It’s also about helping people be more confident in themselves as it’s better to be your own expert than listen to someone who may not actually understand or care about your financial goals.”

J Balvin also joined hands to create awareness. “I’ve been experimenting with crypto because I believe it offers new ways to think about financial freedom. Not just for artists, entertainers, and athletes but for anyone interested and willing to learn,” said Balvin. “One lesson in my career is don’t trust what ‘they’ tell you, do your own research and then decide.”

Binance also took a hit at Coinbase in a tweet. Coinbase had aired an advertisement at the Superbowl with a QR code. They announced $15 in BTC for new users who sign up through that code. Binance wrote in the tweet to not let $15 stop you from doing research.
