Tone Vays who is an early bitcoin supporter and long term critic of Ripple and XRP is again shouting at the Ripple and its native token, XRP. Citing Moneygram quarter 2nd report, Tone Vays says Ripple is using dollars to buy the stock of failing companies, ex MoneyGram.

Just to remind, Ripple sings the strategic partnership with MoneyGram, the 2nd largest global money transfer firm. Accordingly, Ripple invested $30 million in shares and bought Moneygram shares International, Inc. ($MGI) at $4.10/share. While Ripple & MoneyGram assume this partnership at best of its kind, Ton Vays names MoneyGram as a failing company and Ripple is using dollars to invest in the stock of failing companies.

Besides pointing MoneyGram as failing token, Tone Vays shouts XRP as a useless token (again). He adds, Ripple creates and pump useless XRP tokens “while keeping 75%+ for yourself to sell later to bag holders.”

However this isn’t the first time Vays lashing out XRP a useless token, in early July, Vays who is a typical bitcoin maximalist had said, XRP is useless to the parent firm Ripple. Notably, his earlier comment on XRP was also made in wake of Ripple’s partnership announcement with MoneyGram.

So-called XRP token by Tone Vays is now trading with the positive remark of 3.10 percent over the past 24 hours. The value of XRP is quietly surging with the value of other leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum. At the time of reporting, XRP is trading at $0.32 against US Dollar with market cap counting $13,863,199,903.

No doubt, XRP carries a mass of community members that supports strongly on every announcement related to Ripple & XRP and responds to every backlash. Vays believes this XRP community is the “Army of the Brain Dead.”

He says Ripple uses news & announcements to wake up “Army of the Brain Dead” and pump XRP. As always, this time as well, XRP community backlashes Vays and criticizing his statements on Ripple, XRP and its community. One such XRP member responded by adding a use-case of Bitcoin in contrast to XRP, he says;

Another Twitter user and a Ripple community member “XRP Boy” says “Bitcoin is a dead-end.” He laughed and notes;

I’d sell all of what you have because no one wants a Chinese controlled “currency”. Dump while you’re ahead. Bitcoin is a dead end.
