Cardano “Ghost Chain” FUD Is Back; Charles Hoskinson Claps Back

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has slammed self proclaimed influencers for circulating misinformation and warned his followers of the consequences of clickbait titles of people losing faith in blockchain.

The IOG boss feared that the “catastrophic bug” remark along with the infamous ghostchain FUD will remain for a long time. Lamenting he said,

The consequences of headlines: Shallow information gets propagated by influencers to massive networks of people. Truth gets lost in the land of misinformation. As predicted, catastrophic bug is now paired with ghostchain. It will stick for months

He shared his post along with a TikTok video that featured a man who has over 600,000 followers talking about Cardano, and how is it losing relevancy.

Acording to the TikToker, “for a project that has a market cap as high as it has, Cardano does not have much to show for it”.

The guy then cited the vision of the Cardano team, calling it “great” but devoid of any real use cases.

The video ends with the “influencer” comparing Solana to be “much more functional blockchain and a much more functional platform than Cardano has ever even gotten close to being”.

A week back, Hoskinson took to twitter to express his frustration over fud reports after the testnet fiasco. It needs to be told that one of the leading developers Adam Dean had issued a warning that the blockchain’s testnet is “catastrophically broken”.

He even accused the team of unnecessarily rushing to roll out the Vasil hard fork upgrade without implementing crucial tests.

Cardano Founder Responds To Critics

In response to that, Hoskinson asserted that the code had been extensively tested for months, including the network’s stake pool operators [SPOs]. And that the bug in 1.35.2 was fixed in version 1.35.3, which was only released after the discovery of the same.

As previously reported by TronWeekly, Hoskinson also came in support of its ecosystem after being accused as “ghost chain” and being eclipsed by its larger rivals- Bitcoin [BTC] and Ethereum [ETH].

Taking a shot at the naysayers, the founder stated “Sometimes you just have to let people build beautiful things regardless of how long it takes.”
