Charles Schwab aims to grow its crypto business by adding Solana, Avalanche, and Chainlink trading to its digital asset services Schwab Crypto in a few months time. This expansion doesnt just include Bitcoin and Ethereum, it reflects that a $13 trillion holding company is getting on board with a broader variety of digital assets as mainstream demand reenters altcoins.

Charles Schwab’s Expansion Strategy

Charles Schwab launched Schab Crypto in May offering direct spot trading only in Bitcoin and Ethereum. Adding SOL, AVAX, and LINK would be the first expansion in Schwab Crypto to altcoins.

Solana supports fast-throughput DeFi and consumer apps, Avalanche is used to build enterprise tokenisation-enabled subnets and Chainlink has the secure oracle infrastructure supporting over $27 billion of real value across DeFi.
