Crypto Price Predictions: Should You Buy Bitcoin on the Dip?

The crypto market is taking a beating right now.

Bitcoin is trading below $80,000, altcoins are selling off, and sentiment is in “Extreme Fear” territory.

But if history is any guide, these bearish periods often become prime buying opportunities.

Is this one of those times?

Is Bitcoin About to Rebound After Its Recent Drop?

Bitcoin has been on the back foot lately, slipping 8% over the past week and dragging market sentiment down with it.

Trading volume has also taken a hit – spot activity fell 21% in the past day, and the coin’s market cap has dropped to around $1.54 trillion.

Most of the blame goes to the tariffs Trump announced last week, which have left investors uncertain about all asset classes, not just crypto.

But despite the sell-off, there are signs that Bitcoin might be about to rebound.

On the 4-hour chart, Bitcoin has formed a double bottom around the $75,000 level – a pattern that often hints at a reversal.

The RSI on the same timeframe was also in oversold territory earlier this week, which tends to mark where buyers start stepping back in.

If momentum holds, $84,000 could be the first upside target, with a shot at reclaiming $90,000 not far behind.

For dip buyers, this could be a window worth watching.

Ethereum, XRP, and Solana – Are These Top Altcoins Ready to Rally?

Some of the top altcoins are also looking tempting for an entry.

Take Ethereum, for example.

ETH has slipped all the way down to $1,480 – its lowest price since March 2023 and 65% below December’s local high.

That’s an enormous drop, but one that has pushed ETH into oversold territory on the daily chart.

If the bulls regain control, a bounce back towards $2,000 isn’t out of the question.

XRP is another top altcoin to watch.

It’s been sliding steadily, forming a clear pattern of lower highs and lower lows on the daily chart.

However, XRP has just bounced off a key downward trendline, which could set it up for a short-term push towards the upper boundary around $2.20.

Then there’s Solana, currently down 14% since last week and hovering around $106.

After a wave of selling pressure, the token seems to be building a minor support base just above $105.

If that base holds, a rebound towards $145 might be on the cards.

Overall, things may look rough now, but sharp dips like these have a habit of flipping into solid recovery plays.

Solaxy Presale Hits $29.5M as New Layer-2 Protocols Catches Analysts’ Attention

While Bitcoin and the big-name altcoins might be gearing up for a bounce, one lesser-known project could outshine them all – Solaxy (SOLX).

Solaxy is a new Layer-2 scaling solution built to boost Solana.

It tackles some of the network’s most frustrating issues – like congestion and failed transactions – by using rollups to ease the load.

The end result is faster speeds, lower fees, and a more reliable experience for all users.

Solaxy’s presale has already been a massive success, raising $29.5 million – making it one of the hottest crypto launches of 2025 so far.

The current SOLX price sits at $0.001688, with staking rewards of 138% per year on offer to early investors.

SOLX is also getting noticed by some top crypto influencers.

For example, YouTuber Crypto Wire recently did a deep dive on the token, praising its price potential.

Looking ahead, Solaxy’s whitepaper outlines plans for a cross-chain bridge to Ethereum, adding to the project’s appeal.

And with a Coinsult audit already completed, none of this comes at the expense of security.

So, could SOLX outpace Bitcoin and other top altcoins if the market rebounds?

Only time will tell, but Solaxy is clearly one of the most promising plays for dip buyers right now.
