Cryptocurrency investors make hay while the sun shines

Cryptocurrency trading has proven to be a fresh enterprise that has aided most individuals in securing and managing their assets through virtual means. The service assists customers in digitizing their funds and conducting business transactions without the usage of physical cash.

However, crypto trading has no central issuing or governing organizations due to the use of encryption, therefore it simply requires a decentralized system to register transactions and issue new units.

Rick Ross, one of the richest rappers, has taken a jab at crypto investors, challenging them to stand up and showcase all the money they profess to be generating from cryptocurrency trading.

In a recent Instagram story that went viral, American hip-hop singer Rick Ross stung cryptocurrency investors’ nerves by questioning whether or not they are genuinely wealthy.

The rapper, who has five number one albums in the United States, is demanding to see some actual receipts. He said,

“That’s the thing about the boss, the metaverse, crypto, y’all getting so much money, where you at? Show us”

Twitter users, on the other hand, pointed out that tech millionaires do not always flaunt their wealth by throwing money on liabilities like pricey jewellery and cribs. While some users pointed out that one’s wealth can be tracked on blockchain, other cryptocurrency supporters launched personal attacks against the musician, criticizing his music.

Cryptocurrency kings needn’t flaunt their riches

Cryptocurrency billionaires are less likely to flaunt their wealth than rappers, who are known for promoting materialism through showy attire and jewellery. Instead, they opt to flex their non-fungible tokens, which number in the millions. The crypto elites, on the other hand, do not shun a lavish lifestyle in the real world.

Like for instance, Sam Bankman-Fried. Bankman-Fried has risen quickly to the status of crypto billionaire. In 2019, the MIT graduate launched FTX, one of the world’s most prominent cryptocurrency exchanges, and Forbes projected his net worth to be $26.5 billion in October 2021.

Also, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao is the 47th richest person in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, with a net worth of $26 billion.
