Dogecoin is gaining attention as analysts point to historical bullish patterns and increased whale activity supporting a potential recovery. While a $2.82 target remains speculative, improving market sentiment, rising liquidity, and stronger altcoin momentum could influence DOGE’s next major price movement.

Dogecoin (DOGE) is attracting renewed market attention as analysts highlight historical bullish patterns and strengthening momentum in the DOGE price. At the same time, increased whale activity has fueled speculation about potential accumulation, keeping investors focused on DOGE’s next move and the possibility of a sustained upward trend.

At the time of writing, DOGE is trading at $0.07030 with a 24-hour trading volume of $575.8  million and a market capitalization of $12.02 billion. Despite the 1.07% loss over the last 24 hours, the DOGE price structure and whale buying point to a bullish reversal ahead.

DOGE Price Eyes $2.82 as Altcoin Cycle Strengthens

According to the crypto analyst JAVON MARKS, DOGE is turning heads again because of the comparisons being made of its current market structure against the other cycles seen during altcoin bull runs, particularly the meme coin’s tendency to break above the Fibonacci extension at the 1.618 level. This has led many to believe that the DOGE price might be heading for a breakout again.

If history tends to repeat itself, experts suggest that the DOGE price will have to clear an astoundingly long-term rise in order to surpass the expected target price of $2.82, which is 3,800%.

Although this prediction remains hypothetical at this point, enthusiasts claim that better sentiment, better liquidity, and a rising trend among altcoins can facilitate such an increase.

Dogecoin Whales Move 900M DOGE in One Day

The data from dogegod further highlighted that whale activity in Dogecoin experienced another wave when large amounts of DOGE were moved by whales in one day, amounting to 900 million DOGE.

Estimated at around $63 million in value, the movements instantly caught the attention of traders and analysts monitoring on-chain activity in anticipation of major investor activity in the future.

Although the exact purpose of such transfers is still not known, whale activities of this nature often lead to discussion about accumulation, portfolio shuffles, or even potential trading explosions.

Although such large-scale transfers do not point to future movements in price action, they tend to attract the market’s attention, leading to an increase in volatility.

Despite the bullish price predictions and whale activity, the DOGE price is still moving in a downward direction. This move is also backed by the cautious trend in the crypto market as BTC has started to move in negative territory.

What’s Next for Dogecoin?

The future for the DOGE price is based on buying momentum, whales’ actions, and the overall strength of the alternative coins market.

Traders are going to pay attention to the price momentum, volume momentum, and on-chain metrics for the confirmation of the breakout. If sentiment continues to rise, DOGE could attract the attention of investors and move higher.
