Ethereum’s Hudson Jameson Bids Adieu As All Core Devs Meeting Facilitator

The crypto-verse is similar to any other industry. Change in management is inevitable. The Ethereum Foundation seems to be undergoing a change in its hierarchy after a prominent member of the foundation announced his resignation. Hudson Jameson is a popular name in the ETH community, Tim Beiko isn’t far off and he is all set to take over the former’s role as the facilitator of the Ethereum Core Developer meetings.

Ethereum’s Tim Beiko To Take Over Jameson’s Role

In an array of tweets, Hudson Jameson wrote to his 20.2K followers that he was steering away from the Ethereum Foundation to carry out and explore new things. Pointing out that he was putting an end to his 4-year journey of expediting the Ethereum Core Developer meetings aka All Core Devs calls, he revealed his replacement. While Tim Beiko made it easy for users by summarizing the meetings through Twitter, he is all set to facilitate the upcoming meetings. His tweet read,

“2/ There are a few reasons I am stepping back from being the ACD facilitator. It’s primarily because I want to try new things, inside and outside of the Ethereum Foundation. This includes my recent contributions to @zcashomg and some internal EF initiatives. I have been doing the ACD role for so long that I was getting stale at it.”

Stressing on the importance of incorporating someone new into the role, Jameson suggested that Beiko was the perfect replacement. While the facilitator plays a pertinent role, Hudson proposed that pushing the network forward was a group effort. He went on to express his excitement to view the network traversing from Eth 1.0 to Eth 2.0. He specifically mentioned Pooja Ranjan from Ethereum Cat Herders as well as hard fork coordinator James Hancock’s contribution to the network’s progress. He further added,

“I want to thank everyone who I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with every other Friday for the past 4 years. These meetings have really become a core piece of Ethereum’s governance system, for better or worse. I will always remember the successful (and somewhat successful) network upgrades, dry humor during calls, and that one time Ameen tried to be a core dev.”

Jameson further affirmed that he wasn’t going to leave the Ethereum ecosystem. Tim Beiko also tweeted about the same and said,
