Exclusive from Tron Europe Berlin meetup; Tron Unique Art Gallery on the cards

Ever since the end of the Cold War ended, Berlin has been the European city where the East meets the West. It’s also been a hub and an incubator for disruptive technology (the Berlin Hackers club played a prominent role in the WikiLeaks early days).

We’ve been here several times, and the city just keeps changing all the time. You couldn’t tell you’re in the same town from 20 or 10 years ago by looking at Postdammer Platz. Not much is left of the wall or the Soviet era.

But two things remain the same in Berlin always. One is the feeling of cosmopolitism you get everywhere, even in the subway stations. The other one is the Spree river.

As we write this, we’re just four blocks away from the river, at Rosario Steakhouse and Pizzeria which is the place chosen by the representatives of Tron Europe to meet, as we write – we, TronWeekly, are going to consolidate our recent strategic partnership, too. That will see the Tron Weekly (Tron Weekly Journal) become Tron Europe’s only official media partner.

The guys chose a place off the beaten track. It’s nowhere near the famous Berlin landmarks such as the Brandenburger Tor or the Museum Island. Rosario is not a hard place to find, but it’s not even near any subway station. Birkenstrasse is the nearest one, but we had to walk eight blocks to get here.

So the guys from all the Tron Europe community and both projects (Tron Europe and TronWeekly) are now enjoying some German beer, steaks, and pizza (the pizza here is supposed to be particularly useful) while they get to know each other and discuss how Tron Europe (and Tron Weekly Journal) will work to advance the Tron cause.

Tron, as you probably already know, was founded in Singapore (at least the Tron Foundation was) and it’s active all over the world, but the leadership and most of the activity comes out of China. Which could change soon as the BitTorrent network merges into Tron’s blockchain.

Tron Europe is something of Tron’s ambassador in Europe, besides being a Super Representative in the network. Within one year, they are a team of 25 cryptography and blockchain professionals now. Tron Weekly Journal is a news website that focuses on reporting the news in all things Tron. Which is a useful thing because the community is very active and something is going on all the time. So keeping up with the news about Tron is a full-time job if you’re trying to do it on your own.

But besides the beer, the steaks, and the pizza, this meeting is expected to be fruitful. As expected Tron Europe has revealed a couple of their upcoming ventures, one of them is Tron Unique Art Gallery. The project visions to enable everyone to offer a unique picture for sale in the gallery. Each image may exist only once and digitally. A potential customer could only purchase one owner license. In short, a license is only granted once.

Of course, that’s not all, as the meetup continues, more announcements will unfold. We expect Tron Europe team to make at least two important announcements before the check comes in. So, we’ll keep updating this article (it’s recommended that you check it again and again for the next twenty-four hours).

The attendants include Dirk Frank, Marco, @TTRONYXX, Artem, Viktor Vovchenko and Maik who have been in Berlin since yesterday getting ready for the occasion.

We can’t wait to find out what comes up of today’s anticipated meeting of all the community members. And, of course, as soon as we know all the dirty details, we’ll be happy to report it for you (you might want to bookmark this article and check again).
