Giottus, one of India’s top-rated cryptocurrency exchanges, added the Shib token to its platform on May 9th. The exchange made the announcement on its official Twitter account, stating that it is thrilled to launch Shibtoken’s BONE token on its platform.
Additionally, the exchange also announced the launch of the BRISE token from BitGertBrise on the same platform.
The BONE and BRISE tokens can now be paired with the Indian Rupee on the Giottus exchange. Adding these tokens to the platform is expected to provide Indian cryptocurrency traders with more options to diversify their portfolios.
Interestingly, Giottus started a Twitter poll the day before the announcement to gauge the demand for the BONE token. The poll received a total of 68.7K views, with 89.2% of voters in favor of the token and 10.8% not in favor.
With the addition of these new tokens, Giottus continues to expand its portfolio of cryptocurrencies and provide Indian traders with more options. The exchange’s move also aligns with the growing demand for cryptocurrencies in India, with more investors and traders entering the market.
Shiba Ecosystem Official Announces Cold Wallet Launch This Week
Meanwhile, Shiba Ecosystem Official’s Content Marketing Specialist, LUCIE, has announced that the cold wallet feature may be launched this week.
The announcement was made on Twitter, with LUCIE sharing a screenshot that said Shibarium1 is currently organizing a general AMA with Huobi exchange, an AMA with Certik, and a possible partnership.
Regarding the cold wallet feature, the tweet mentioned that an update or announcement would be made in a few days or earlier if everything went well. A cold wallet is a type of cryptocurrency wallet that securely stores private keys offline, making it less susceptible to hacking and theft.
Many members of the Shiba Inu community commented on the announcement, with one thanking the team for their hard work and dedication. Others were less optimistic, with some questioning the delay and expressing frustration about the time taken to develop Shibarium.
Despite the mixed reactions, the community remains strong and committed to the project. The introduction of a cold wallet feature could provide additional security for investors, and many are eagerly awaiting its release.
