Injective (INJ) continues to face difficulties as it faces key resistance levels, and the overall trend is dominated by sellers. Investors are waiting to see if a breakout will be able to reverse the short-term downtrend.

At the time of writing, INJ is trading at $3.18 with a 24-hour trading volume of $410.97 million and a market capitalization of $320.10 million, according to CoinMarketCap. Despite a modest 4.20% gain over the last 24 hours, technical indicators signal that downward momentum remains dominant.

Injective Signals Short-Term Correction

Crypto analyst CryptoPulse, in a post published on February 19, 2026, emphasized that INJ was at a critical point from a technical point of view. Looking at the daily chart for INJ, there was a series of lower lows.

On the four-hour chart for INJ, it was seen to be trading in a rectangular range and was constantly facing resistance at current levels.

This resistance has led to selling and profit-taking, indicating a short-term correction in the stock. CryptoPulse pointed out that a short position could be taken with a stop loss above resistance, but longs can be taken only in case of a breakout with high volume. INJ Oversold Signals Suggest Buyer Interest

The indicators suggest that the asset is technically oversold. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) for the asset is at 29.26, which is less than its moving average at 32.11.

This suggests that the asset might soon see new buyers. INJ is trading significantly lower than its major moving averages: $5.63 (20-day SMA), $9.37 (50-day SMA), $12.91 (200-day SMA), and $15.83 (100-day SMA).

The MACD also confirms the selling pressure. The MACD line is at -2.15214, and the signal line is at -2.11928, which are both below zero. Meanwhile, the histogram is at -0.03285. This indicates that the selling pressure is still in charge, and a strong reversal upwards has yet to be seen.

Therefore, investors should keep an eye on the resistance levels of Injective, as a breakout or pullback may affect the short-term investment strategy. Overall, Injective faces challenges, and investors should wait for a breakout before initiating new trades.
