Chainlink is gaining momentum as LINK approaches the key $9 resistance level, with a breakout potentially strengthening its broader recovery trend. Expectations around ETF inflows and token buybacks could add further demand, while Chainlink’s growing role in prediction markets highlights expanding utility across the DeFi ecosystem.

Chainlink (LINK) is showing renewed bullish momentum as the LINK price approaches key resistance, while potential ETF demand and token buybacks could support further gains. Meanwhile, Chainlink’s infrastructure is helping prediction markets achieve faster resolution and payouts, strengthening its role in the expanding decentralized finance ecosystem.

At the time of writing, LINK is trading at $9.33 with a 24-hour trading volume of $511.3 million and a market capitalization of $7.06 billion. Following the 7.65% gain over the last 24 hours, the LINK price structure and network growth point to a bullish reversal ahead.

According to the crypto analyst Crypto Patel, the LINK price is showing renewed strength as bullish momentum pushes the token closer to the key $9 resistance level.

One market observer says LINK is already up roughly 40% from their reported entry, reflecting growing buyer confidence. A decisive breakout above $9 could strengthen the recovery narrative and attract additional attention from traders.

There is also positive sentiment regarding the potential impact that flows from ETFs and token buybacks may have on LINK’s demand.

If there is sufficient momentum, some analysts still have big targets such as $20, $50, and $100. However, the LINK price needs to make a breakout above the resistance level first.

The data from Chainlink further highlighted that the prediction markets have been expanding fast with their monthly volume hitting $40 billion and outshining the total amount bet by U.S. sportsbooks.

The explosion shows an increasing need for blockchain platforms where one can speculate about real-world events. As their adoption rate increases, prediction markets seem to be more ready than ever to become a new major field in DeFi.

One of the main contributors to this development is Chainlink, which is building the infrastructure meant to help accelerate and increase the reliability of resolution in prediction markets.

The infrastructure could be helpful to leading platforms in determining the outcome of the event and enabling faster payments upon completion of the event.

Following the bullish price predictions and network growth, the HYPE price is moving in an upward direction. This move is also backed by the general trend in the crypto market as the Bitcoin price has started to move upward.

The future direction of Chainlink is dependent mainly on whether the LINK price is able to keep up the pace beyond the critical resistance of $9.

In case of an effective breakout, bullish mood is expected to gain more strength and make way for recovery; otherwise, a consolidation move can be anticipated. An increased interest in ETFs, token buyback, and DeFi can give further triggers to LINK.
