Litecoin partner Miami Dolphins promotes 50/50 raffle tickets powered by LTC

August 23, 2019 by Tabassum Naiz

The fifth-largest cryptocurrency, Litecoin is on a mainstream media as Miami Dolphins enables users to get 50/50 raffle tickets presented by LTC. In fact, users can access the same irrespective of the location, either from Hard Rock Stadium or watching the game from home.

Litecoin (LTC) on the Rise

Litecoin, which currently ranks at the 5th most significant spot on Coinmarketcap (CMC) in terms of market capitalization, went up by 1.85 within the past 24 hours. With a market capitalization of $4,656,276,869, the coin is trading at the value $73.80 against US Dollar.

The quick surge in the price of LTC might be a direct influence from the latest promotional activities by the Miami Dolphins, an American football team based in the Miami metropolitan area.

To remind, Litecoin has been on the hot bulletins of the crypto media due to its increased adoption, including one that includes the Miami Dolphins. During early July this year, Litecoin foundation excited its community, stating that they signed a partnership with MiamiDolphins to allow NFL fans to pay with Litecoin. Since then onwards, Miami Dolphins and Litecoin are encouraging the fans to use Litecoin to buy 50/50 raffle tickets.

#PayWithLitecoin

Today, August 23, Miami Dolphins shared an update as a part of its promo activities and stated as follows;

Whether you are at @HardRockStadium or watching the game from home, get your 50/50 raffle tickets presented by Litecoin.

While the tweet seems an exciting update for Litecoin, crypto community as well as for its fan, comments of Twitter users reveal they couldn’t see an option to pay with Litecoin. Miami Dolphins haven’t responded to a particular user who is facing the issue but seems that this might be a temporary technical issue.

Crypto payment adoption is on the rise as more and more merchants/companies are bullish at the future of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Following the partnership with Miami Dolphins, Litecoin is more likely to boost cryptocurrency adoption and awareness to an even broader audience.

As Litecoin is now the official cryptocurrency of the Miami Dolphins, LTC Co-founder, Charlie Lee expressed his positive view saying;

We’re thrilled to see Litecoin become the official cryptocurrency of the Miami Dolphins, Lee said. We see this as a powerful way to raise awareness and educate people about Litecoin and cryptocurrencies on a tremendous scale.
