NEAR Protocol is approaching a key technical decision point as traders watch the 200-day moving average for confirmation of the next major move. While resistance at $1.78 and $1.92 could open the door to recovery, expanding multichain wallet infrastructure may strengthen NEAR’s broader Web3 utility.

NEAR Protocol (NEAR) is approaching a crucial technical decision point as bullish momentum builds, though traders remain alert to a potential reversal for the NEAR price. Meanwhile, NEAR Intents, Aurora, and Solflare are advancing multichain wallet infrastructure, aiming to simplify cross-chain transactions and strengthen interoperability across the broader Web3 ecosystem.

At the time of writing, NEAR is trading at $1.60 with a 24-hour trading volume of $147.51 million and a market capitalization of $2.09 billion. Despite the 2% loss over the last 24 hours, the NEAR price structure and network expansion point to a bullish reversal ahead.

NEAR Price Eyes $1.92 as Bullish Momentum Builds

According to the crypto analyst Umair Orakzai, the NEAR price is attempting to test its 200-day SMA, one of the most important indicators in a trend-based technical analysis strategy.

Support levels are seen around $1.244 and $1.444, whereas the resistance lies at $1.78 and $1.92. It seems that although there was a bullish candle recently, it might just be a bull trap for NEAR.

A downward breakout below the 200-day moving average could result in even more selling pressure, especially if traders start to exit the bullish formation.

Failure of support levels means that the NEAR price will retest $1.444 and possibly $1.244. But a move back above $1.78 and $1.92 will make the bullish argument more compelling.

NEAR Intents Explores Next Era of Multichain Wallets

The data from NEAR Protocol further highlighted that NEAR Intents, Aurora, and Solflare are shining a light on the next stage of interoperability, which involves wallets, cross-chain financing, and improved user experience.

In the conversation, users are considered when moving assets from one chain to another without technical difficulties. In addition, this could simplify the use of decentralized applications.

The partnership comes amid rising needs for infrastructure that would enable the interconnection of fragmented blockchain systems and their liquidity.

With the rise in multichain usage, wallets may go beyond mere storing of assets to become all-encompassing hubs for cross-chain services. NEAR Intents, Aurora, and Solflare are considering how increased financing and transactions could lead to this.

Despite the bullish price predictions and network expansion, the NEAR price is moving in a downward direction. This move is also backed by the general trend in the crypto market as the BTC price has started to move downward, which has impacted the overall market, including altcoins.

What Comes Next?

The NEAR price is now tested at the 200-day SMA to confirm an important move. A move past $1.78 could clear the way to $1.92, while a failure to break out might see the price fall to $1.444 or even $1.244. Moreover, developments on multichain technology infrastructure might boost utility on the network.
