NEAR Protocol is defending a key support zone as traders watch for a potential breakout toward higher resistance levels. The integration of NEAR Intents with Stargate strengthens cross-chain liquidity and swap efficiency, highlighting the network’s growing role in the multichain DeFi ecosystem.

NEAR Protocol (NEAR) is holding firm at key support, with analysts watching for a breakout that could revive bullish momentum for the NEAR price. Meanwhile, Stargate’s integration of NEAR Intents improves cross-chain liquidity and swap efficiency, reinforcing NEAR’s expanding role in the multichain decentralized finance ecosystem.

At the time of writing, NEAR is trading at $1.62 with a 24-hour trading volume of $189.6 million and a market capitalization of $2.12 billion. Despite the 10.62% loss over the last 24 hours, the NEAR price structure and network expansion point to a bullish reversal ahead.

NEAR Price Eyes $3 as Bulls Defend Key Support

According to the crypto analyst, Crypto With Gopal, the NEAR price continues trading within a well-defined rectangle pattern, with buyers consistently defending the lower support boundary despite recent consolidation.

The steady demand at current levels suggests investors remain confident, preventing a deeper decline. Analysts believe the ongoing range reflects accumulation as volatility tightens and market participants await a decisive directional breakout ahead.

If the NEAR price bounces from the support level constantly and a breakout through the ceiling of the rectangle pattern takes place, a new wave of bullish sentiment can emerge, signaling a new phase of the upward movement.

Considering the reduction in volatility levels, the traders are waiting for a quick run towards $3, when the resistance is finally overcome.

Stargate Integrates NEAR Intents for Cross-Chain Swaps

The data from NEAR Protocol further highlighted that the Stargate cross-chain liquidity protocol powered by LayerZero has included NEAR Intents in order to offer a limited set of cross-chain paths in their system.

This improvement will increase the interoperability of the system, which will allow for easier transfer of assets between blockchains, which means that users can now perform swaps without any friction.

This cooperation opens up more liquidity and efficient routing capabilities for applications built on the Stargate protocol, allowing better swap execution and efficiency in capital management.

With the increase in cross-chain activity, the cooperation strengthens blockchain connectivity and improves the user experience, showing how much the Stargate and NEAR teams are committed to providing cross-chain solutions.

Despite the bullish price predictions and network growth, the NEAR price is moving in the downward direction. This move is also impacted by the cautious environment in the crypto market as Bitcoin has started to move downward again.

What Comes Next?

As long as NEAR holds onto its main support and buying pressure becomes more pronounced, there is a chance that it will break out of its resistance rectangle and signal a trend reversal to the upside.

However, NEAR Intents implementation through Stargate could result in increased liquidity and activity on the platform.
