People’s ‘interest over time’ in Tron (TRX) spikes as Sun meets Buffet

Justin Sun, Tron’s and BitTorrent’s CEO and Tron’s founder just offered USD 4,57 million for the privilege of having lunch with Warren Buffet, the world-famous investor who called Bitcoin “probably rat poison squared.”

Wouldn’t you like to listen to their conversation?

Sun is the man behind the Tron Foundation, which issues the Tronix (TRX) cryptocurrency and that also bought BitTorrent and then issued the BTT token which is now in the world’s top 30 by market capitalization.

Mr. Sun’s track record as an entrepreneur in Asia is beyond any doubts, and he’ll hopefully have the opportunity to provide Mr. Buffet with high-quality first-hand information that could prompt Mr. Buffet to see the cryptoshpere in a different light.

Mr. Warren said he’s happy to meet with the Chinese crypto-celebrity and his entourage “It is very common in investment circles that people will change their minds,” Sun said in a telephone interview. “Investment opportunities are best when lots of people are underestimating technology.”

Mr. Sun was every bit as well disposed of, and he announced it in his Twitter account:

Mr. Buffet and Chares Munger, a close associate of his, are not crypto fans at all. “Noxious poison” is one of the friendliest words they’ve used to refer to it. At least Mr. Buffet has recognized that blockchain technology could turn out to be “important” in a CNBC interview.

“Even one of the most successful investors of all times can sometimes miss a coming wave,” Sun expressed in a letter to the crypto verse “Buffett has admitted he overpaid for big investment food giant Kraft Heinz Co., while failing to realize the potential of the likes of Amazon.com Inc.; Alphabet, the parent of Google; and even Apple.”

Glide Charity

This all came about because of the Glide charity organization based out of San Francisco. Mr. Buffet’s late wife used to support it. The group has raised more than USD 30 million over time, and bid amounts for their events have only been going up. Gide accommodates the city homeless with free food and support for victims of violence. It also helps people find shelter.

“I’m delighted with the fact that Justin has won the lunch and am looking forward to meeting him and his friends,” explained Mr. Buffet in an email “We are going to have a good time, and Glide will use his contribution to help many thousands of people.”

Amid all the recent coverage Tron and its CEO Justin Sun has been getting, searches for the term “Tron” has surged in the giant search engine, Google, significantly.

So everything is set. One of crypto’s champions will meet one of the detractors. Food will be good for sure, but it will be more interesting to see what comes out of their conversation. Maye Mr. Buffet will be persuaded that crypto is worth it.

Or maybe, Tron CEO will end up thinking it’s not. Both results are unlikely. But it’s essential to find out what happens when one of the crypto verse titans meets a traditional investor an see what comes out of the time they spend together.
