Over 2.6 million Pioneers took part in the Challenge. Out of those, 761,000 successfully completed every step and earned a limited-edition badge linked to their username. Each step in the challenge introduced a fresh feature, such as the Pi App Studio, updated Node tools, and the innovative Ecosystem Directory Staking platform.

Participation extended across various regions, reflecting the network’s wide user base and enthusiasm to adopt new tools. The format not only guided users but also rewarded them with digital collectibles, adding a gamified layer to the ecosystem’s adoption process.

Pi Network Unveils App Studio; 7,600 Chatbots

A major highlight of Pi2Day 2025 was the debut of Pi App Studio, a no-code, AI-supported platform that simplifies app creation. This tool allows anyone, regardless of technical experience, to build and deploy apps within the decentralized Pi ecosystem. The results were immediate and impactful.

Since launch, over 7,600 chatbot apps and 14,100 custom applications have been created and published. In total, more than 34,800 individual users have engaged with the platform, building everything from games to utility tools.

Notable examples include Pi-Tris, a block-clearing game; BLACKHOLE, an astronomy-focused chatbot; Healthy Life, a wellness assistant; and FlapPi Bird, an arcade-style flying game.

While these apps showcase creativity and functional design, Pi Network emphasized that it does not verify or evaluate these applications. Pioneers are encouraged to engage responsibly and apply caution when using third-party apps on the platform.

Ecosystem Directory Staking Fuels App Visibility

Another key release during the event was Ecosystem Directory Staking, a new feature that lets users and businesses stake Pi tokens to promote apps on the Ecosystem Interface. This mechanism operates on the Mainnet blockchain, allowing the community to push forward apps they find valuable.

More than 37.7 million Pi were staked across 1,450+ apps, with over 25 million Pi still actively staked. The feature attracted participation from 16,700 unique users, highlighting how staking has become an active way to influence app discovery.

Pi Network’s 2025 celebration ended with strong signals of progress. It showcased not just platform updates but also the community’s readiness to adopt, explore, and actively shape the ecosystem’s future.
