SBF Responds Why Cardano Isn’t Listed On FTX

A spot Cardano trading pair is on the FTX’s agenda, CEO Sam Bankman-Fried insisted after a community member slammed the platform for not listing the token.

In response, the chief executive said that it wasn’t difficult or intentional to leave the asset off the list. In fact, the “ERC20/etc. tokens come almost automatically, but yeah we still have to make sure we have good Cardano validator parsing for deposits/withdrawals,” he added.

One Cardano stake pool operator by the name of Big Pey offered to provide support either as a consultant or a nodes operator.

We would be happy to help you with any Cardano validating you need, whether it be advice or to run the nodes. We’ve minted the 8th block on Cardano and have the longest possible ADA validator experience [since first epoch].

Back in September 2021, when the token first crossed the $3 threshold and overtook Ethereum and Bitcoin in market capitalization, FTX originally suggested listing ADA.

The Bahamas-based cryptocurrency exchange asked for votes in a survey in February of this year to decide whether to support Cosmos [ATOM] or spot ADA in an effort to draw in more retail investors and boost its user base.

Still, the token remain unlisted as of now, much to the disapointment of its users. However, Bankman-Fried has noted that his firm currently offers perpetual futures tied to the popular cryptocurrency for its global clients.

Additionally, 3X Long Cardano Token [ADABULL], whose returns are three times the daily return of the asset, is available for trading on FTX.

Meanwhile, Cardano‘s Charles Hoskinson posted a teaser hinting there may be some special launches in the next month.

The other day, Hoskinson tweeted the community to brace for something special on november, tagging a along with a GIF saying “Good News Everyone!” uttered by the famous character Professor Farnsworth from the 1999 animated TV show Futurama.
