Game of Thrones actor Ser Bronn joins the crypto industry

Believe it or not, there is a “vegan lifestyle” organization in the world that will be launching its very own cryptocurrency. And Jerome Flynn, a senior Game of Thrones actor, will join the project as a member of the advisory board.

He played the role of the Blackwater’s Ser Bronn for the eight seasons that Game of Thrones lasted. Mr. Flynn hopes his celebrity status can be useful in promoting the vegan lifestyle via cryptocurrency (a thoroughly novel notion) so that Ser Bronn’s dark past can be redeemed.

Mr. Flynn would have wished for Ser Bronn to join the Westeros forces (most of them, anyway) in fighting the army of the undead. He said that,

“bit disappointed that Bronn didn’t let go of his personal desire to get a castle and go and fight the white walkers with everyone else.”

One of the vegan lifestyle’s core values is to expose and fight cruel farming practices. Promoting this brand of compassion towards animals through the Blockchain technology project VeganNation aims to help clean up a little the harsh reputation earned by Ser Bronn during the last few years, the actor hopes.

Crypto meets vegan

VeganNation is based in Israel. It wants to build the most robust vegan ecosystem by using a cryptocurrency (its very own one) to support vegan business and bolstering vegan trade.

Based in Israel, VeganNation aims to create the “strongest vegan ecosystem” by supporting vegan businesses and strengthening vegan trade through the use of its own cryptocurrency.

Mr. Flynn has been involved with environmental and animal rights causes for a long time. He shares the target pursued by VeganCoin: to empower the businesses that are cruelty-free.

Flynn explained,

“I’ve been involved in a lot of converging activism campaigns as well as joining VeganNation and starting to put some energy and passion into that,”

He continued,

“I’ve not come across anything like VeganNation before. It’s trying to unite vegans, and it’s a wonderful idea with so much potential.”

But it seems that Mr. Flynn’s agreement with VeganNation, while significant, is not as high as 100%.

The organization based on vegan wants the whole world to be vegan within the next seven years. Mr. Flynn is passionate about all things vegan and seeks to educate the public and advance the cause. But he’s not as radical, “some of [my] closest dearest friends aren’t vegan, and I love them… It’s important not to be [raining] down personal judgment on others.”

So crypto-vegan could stop meaning “a vegan that’s not out of the closet yet” and give way to a new notion. VeganNation’s interest in promoting its cause through blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies shows how versatile and useful crypto can be.

We’re not thoroughly persuaded that a new altcoin is going to make the people of the world stop eating meat. That being said, securing the involvement of a Game of Thrones star just at the moment in which everybody in the world is talking about the TV show’s ending is a huge PR coup that will surely bring a lot of attention to the project. This article is a good example.
