There has been quite a lot of anticipation over Shiba Inu’s “SHIB The Metaverse” premiere at SXSW. The wait seemed to be over today, leaving the SHIB Community in awe.
The metaverse will be welcomed at SXSW with a party, according to Shiba Inu’s official Twitter account.
The South by Southwest festival and conference, usually referred to as SXSW or South By, is an annual conglomeration of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that are cooperatively planned and conducted in Austin, Texas, in March. This year, the event will take place from March 12–14.
According to a previous tweet from the team, Shiba Inu will be highlighted as one of the XR Experience spotlights, and the stunning WAGMI Temple Hub will make its debut.
Shiba Inu Brings On The Night
Shiba Inu tweets that there will be a party to celebrate the premiere of “SHIB The Metaverse,” which marks the metaverse’s entry into SXSW.
To that end, on March 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CST, the Shiba Inu community and departure lounge will host a “metaverse happy hour” event to wrap off press day and kick off the SXSW Interactive track.
The immersive music video experience “The Dark VR” and “Shib the Metaverse” can be experienced directly by visitors to the XR Exhibition.
Marcie Jastrow, a SHIB metaverse advisor, will also take part in a panel discussion titled “READY, SET, METAVERSE,” which will examine the creative and technical processes involved in producing metaverse experiences using modern technology.
SHIB The panel’s hosts would be Marcie Jastrow, The Metaverse, and its partner, The Third Floor. It won’t be the first time that SHIB’s metaverse will be featured at a major gathering. Marcie Jastrow represented SHIB at the Immerse Global Summit in Miami, Florida, held in December. Companies including Facebook’s Meta, Microsoft, Web3Equity, and TerraZero were among the attendees.
In other news, during early January and mid-February 2023, the price of Shiba Inu increased dramatically before declining. Due to Friday’s market fall brought on by Silvergate, SHIB is down 3% over the past 30 days. At the time of writing, SHIB was priced at $0.00001134 with a daily drop of 5.57% as per market cap.
