Shiba Inu Metaverse Booth Draws Huge Crowd

A Shiba Inu-focused Twitter account shared pictures of people queuing to get a glimpse of the Shib Metaverse experience, saying that the SHIB booth has become “a very popular spot in the hall.”

Deemed the most highly anticipated project on SHIB’s layer-2 Shibarium, the Shiba Inu Metaverse saw its official beta launch on 11 March.

And at the South by Southwest [SXSW] festival, the creators debuted an extensive look at what it will look like in a region of the Metaverse, the WAGMI Temple Hub, through an immersive extended reality experience.

Named after the crypto rally cry, “We’re All Going to Make It,” the WAGMI Temple is the first of 11 hubs in the SHIB metaverse.

As per the official Shiba Inu token website, the Wagmi Temple provides “a Zen-like realm of calming sensations, meditation, natural beauty, and spiritual connections to the world”.

It is designed to lead users through SHIB’s history, the token’s discovery, and its decentralized foundations.

Usually referred to as SXSW or South By, the South by Southwest festival and conference is an annual gathering of parallel film, interactive media, and music festivals and conferences that are planned and held in Austin, Texas, in March. The event started from March 12–14 this year.

As reported by TronWeekly, the Shiba Inu team recently celebrated the premiere of “SHIB The Metaverse,” marking the metaverse’s entry into SXSW.

Shiba Inu Team Kickstarted “Metaverse Happy Hour”

The “metaverse happy hour” event was held at the Shiba Inu community and departure lounge on March 11 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CST to conclude press day and launch the SXSW Interactive track.

The immersive music video featured “The Dark VR” and “Shib the Metaverse” that was made available to the visitors to the XR Exhibition.

In addition to that, the event also had Marcie Jastrow, a SHIB metaverse advisor, who held a panel discussion titled “READY, SET, METAVERSE,” examining the creative and technical processes involved in producing metaverse experiences using modern technology.

Earlier, Marcie Jastrow attended the Immerse Global Summit in Miami, Florida, in December on behalf of SHIB.

Together with Jastrow, The Third Floor, a partner company, served as the panel’s other hosts. The metaverse of SHIB will once again be highlighted during a significant event. Other participating firms present were TerraZero, Microsoft, Web3Equity, and Facebook’s Meta.
