Shiba Inu Metaverse Fosters Diversity Through This Partnership

Shiba Inu ecosystem’s own metaverse has teamed up with The International Women of Blockchain [IWB] and NOWPayments, to onboard more women in crypto, blockchain, and Web3.

In accordance with the press release, the partner entities would work towards welcoming all genders and nationalities – from users to coders to CEOs into the decentralized community.

Shiba Inu’s project lead Shytoshi Kusama and other SHIB metaverse executives stressed the importance of empowering women at the third annual meeting of The International Women of Blockchain [IWB] last week.

According to the Forbes article, the lead developer also started a fund to help the community, starting with a personal donation of $25,000. The IWB-benefiting fund now has a value of more than $50,000.

“We will never reach full adoption until blockchain is accessible and utilized by all genders and nationalities,” Kusama said. The principal developer also stated he will ask the SHIBARMY meme coin fans to contribute to the metaverse game’s development as well.

“At Shib we have a woman-led group called #shibwomen and we are trying to grow this part of the community through mentorship, positive influence, and inclusiveness,” Marcie Jastrow who is Metaverse advisor, added.

Not long ago, SHIB The Metaverse also announced that it will be built on top of Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s highly anticipated Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. In addition, SHIB The Metaverse’s WAGMI Hub preview was one of the highlights at South by Southwest or SXSW 2023.

Speaking of Shibarium, its beta testnet also known as Puppynet, hit a new milestone recently.

Shiba Inu’s Puppynet Achieve A New Breakthrough

An influential Shiba Inu member by the name of Lucy shared the stats on the expansion of the Shibarium test network.

Puppynet experienced a notable rise in user activity, logging over 121k transactions that have already been executed and up to 65k wallet addresses.

The testnet version had so far handled 109,655 transactions involving 57,781 wallet addresses. Both of these measures appear to be quite impressive and show a strong desire to crack the second layer of the popular meme coin.

The growth of the test network comes shortly after the reconfiguration of the Puppynet network which took place on March 24.

In order to dispel rumors that Shibarium was using code that was taken from the Rinia project, it had to move from Chain ID 917 to Chain ID 719.
