Shiba Inu Metaverse Launches New Twitter Account & Tools For User Creativity

Shiba Inu Metaverse (MV) team announced the launch of a new Twitter account named Shib – The Metaverse, which will be the official communication channel for all updates about their project.

To celebrate the launch, the MV team is also running a giveaway contest, where participants can win 10 free lands by following the new account and retweeting their posts by the end of April.

According to an official blog post, the Metaverse has undergone numerous changes, including structural changes to the team, creating new designs for specific hubs, and modifying the roadmap and vision.

The team has set the end of 2023 as the timeline to allow users to explore some areas of the Metaverse, build, design, play, and develop within it.

The team has been pushed to create a new social account to communicate updates and official news, and users are encouraged to follow the new official Twitter handle, @mvshib, to stay up-to-date.

Additionally, the team has significantly improved the development infrastructure, providing users with a more photorealistic experience.

The team is now building new hubs with a more modern approach to developing gameplay design, without the headache of lengthy troubleshooting, by utilizing all of Unreal’s in-engine capabilities.

Tools For Shiba Inu Metaverse: Plot Builder, Avatar Builder, Game Maker

Per the blog post, the team is also developing key tools for the first version of the Metaverse, including a plot builder, an avatar builder, and a game maker.

The plot builder tool enables users to design and personalize their plots, including inserting fully pre-built things like structures, trees, and decorations to produce a distinctive scene or landscape.

Moreover, users can adjust the terrain of the plot, paint it with different textures, add interactive elements, monetize their creations by selling or renting their plots, and publish them for other users to visit, explore and interact with. Users can access 1764 m² for owned land and 1024 m² for buildable land.

The blog post further stated that the avatar builder tool allows users to create a unique digital identity with various personalization options. Users can choose from pre-made templates or customize body features, facial elements, hairstyles, clothing, and accessories.

The game maker tool details are yet to be revealed in the next blog. The following surprise, Rocket Pond, a hub that would elevate users, has also been revealed by the MV team. Users may get a sneak glimpse of the initial previews the MV team has created as they wait for the flyover launch to begin.

Finally, the MV team attended the SXSW Experience to showcase the Wagmi pre-alpha immersive piece to the outside world in a festival style.

The blog post claimed that the team decided to take part in the SXSW Experience after realizing that depending simply on internal input from their staff and content providers may not be enough. The feedback received will help the team improve and enhance the Metaverse.
