Shiba Inu (SHIB) Achieves Outstanding New Milestone as Adoption Increases

The number of Shiba Inu holders has increased by more than 2,000 over the last two days. In the interim, the meme coin has risen to the top ten assets sought by the biggest Ethereum investors.

A tweet from the SHIB-themed account @shibaburned claims that as of December 21 there were 1,100 more SHIB holders, bringing the total to 1,268,573.

However, the well-known wallet tracker WhaleStats, which furthermore offers on-chain analytics data on the most popular coins, has reported that the overall Shiba Inu holder count has climbed over the previous day and is presently at 1,269,760. Therefore, over 2,100 more SHIB holders have been added over the course of the last two days.

Shiba Inu canine coin once again made the top 10 list of cryptocurrencies that were most frequently acquired in the last 24 hours, according to a recent tweet from the aforementioned WhaleStats.

Shibburn, a well-known burn tracker, reports that since the morning of December 19, the combined efforts of the Shib army have caused the supply of SHIB to be in circulation to decrease by a total of 66,065,238 meme coins. That was a significant increase of more than 111% from the roughly 30 million SHIB burned the day prior. These transfers to dead-end wallets totaled 32,314,923 and 21,537,303 Shiba Inus, respectively.

According to a recent tweet by mobile game creator Travis Johnson, the “Shib Super Store” was able to burn through about half of the aforementioned SHIB sum. His efforts have resulted in the removal of 32,314,923 SHIB altogether.

Shiba Inu canine coin once again made the top 10 list of cryptocurrencies that were most frequently acquired in the last 24 hours, according to a recent tweet from the aforementioned WhaleStats.

Along with SHIB, popular tokens like APE, UNI, BAT, and a few more are also included on that list.

Approximately 5 million Shiba Inu were removed from circulation and transmitted to dead-end wallets on the previous day, according to the Shibburn crypto platform, which tracks SHIB burn transactions using data from Etherscan. As a result, the burn rate increased by 65.29%. A total of 410,383,334,195,001 SHIB, or roughly half of the total supply, have been taken out of circulation thus far.
