Shytoshi Kusama Reacts To Shiba Inu-Themed Restaurant’s Live Broadcast

A Shiba Inu-themed restaurant in Australia started streaming live as part of its grand opening. Project leader Shytoshi Kusama noticed the widely publicized event and tweeted, “A great example of decentralization”.

Earlier, in Dec last year, Shiba fans announced the restaurant dedicated to the meme coin in the nation. Dubbed Shiba Wings, the chicken restaurant would come with a crypto ATM installed on the premises.

The restaurant will feature Shiba Inu with fiery wings as its logo, possibly suggesting the SHIB burning mechanism.

Touted to be Australia’s first ‘cryptoDINER, the eating joint, is set to open on the Gold Coast and will allow cryptocurrency payments for placing orders for burgers, hot wings, and beer.

The new restaurant would include support for the NowPayments platform’s payment system, which lets customers pay with cryptocurrencies to order food.

The founders of the restaurant claimed that Shiba Wings is also open to incorporating Shibarium, a layer 2 update that is designed to boost SHIB’s scalability on the Ethereum blockchain.

Notably, this Australian-based restaurant is not the only SHIB-accepting restaurant that is making its debut over the last year.

Shiba Inu Restaurant Sprang Up In Japan And Venezuela

According to reports, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba in February, revealed SHIB teaming up with Welly, an Italian burger chain.

As per a recent tweet, Welly, the Shiba Inu-themed burger joint, is planning to expand its footprint into Tokyo, Japan.

The team asked its “Welly pals” in the area to organize a meet-up but did not specify the activities that would be done over the course of seven days.

At the beginning of the year, Welly declared that its key priorities were opening new stores and expanding its franchise network. So, it could be logical to assume that Welly’s travel to Japan still had an expansion-focused objective.

In addition to that, another Shiba Inu branded food venture, titled Shiba food park debuted in Venezuela.

Meanwhile, the SHIB burn rate has once more shown a sharp increase as an astonishing quantity of meme currencies were transferred to “inferno” wallets.

Almost one billion Shiba Inu coins have been burned in a span of 24 hours, which is slightly less than half of the total number of SHIB that have been destroyed over the previous seven days. Shiba Inu, a well-known meme coin, has increased by more than 7% during the past week.
