According to the well-known burn tracker Shibburn, the number of Shiba Inu meme coins burned has decreased by about 50% during the last 24 hours. This organization pulls information on burn transactions from Etherscan and posts it on its website. Shibburn has received criticism from a Shiba Inu fan, though it’s more probable that he was criticizing all of the people and organizations burning SHIB tokens because the price hasn’t increased as a result of all the burns that have occurred over the past two years.

On a recent tweet from Shibburn about the amount of SHIB destroyed since yesterday morning, Shib fan Babakura Alhaji Baba made a comment. He claimed that the SHIB army ought to be incinerated trillions of Shibas, if not billions. If not, “We will take additional years and nothing will change,” he declared. Many Shib owners have previously brought up this issue on Twitter, arguing that in order for there to be the anticipated price increase, the meme coin’s supply must be drastically cut.

50% Drop In Shiba Inu Tokens Burned

According to a recent post on the site, the community of the second-most popular meme coin has so far burned 67,695,630 SHIB over the course of the previous 24 hours. This represents a 50% reduction from the over 200 million meme tokens that were burned by yesterday morning. Three transfers carrying 30,151,901 meme tokens were the most recent, carrying 18,887,244 SHIB, 11,181,405 SHIB, and 11,181,405 SHIB respectively, all of which were delivered to dead wallets.

Somewhat more than 81 billion Shiba Inu coins were destroyed last year, that is, trapped in unspendable addresses. A burner called “Shib Super Store,” which participates in the Amazon associate program, withdrew around one-tenth of that amount. This platform recently tweeted that they were able to burn 6,356,674,757 meme tokens last year as a whole. That much SHIB is worth $52,379 in total. Additionally, this platform delivered 18,887,244 SHIB to a dead address earlier today. There are currently 562,831,210,664,608 Shiba Inu available for purchase, according to the Shibburn website. From the initial supply of 999,990,978,489,935 SHIB, a total of 410,384,283,359,102 SHIB have already been burned.
