Shiba Inu’s Mystery Developer Would Soon Disclose His Identity

Shiba Inu’s unknown principal developer also known by the fictitious moniker Shytoshi Kusama, whose words are eagerly anticipated by the Shib community, intends to go public.

This was revealed in a discord message dated January 21, 2022, from Kusama himself which was forwarded by a SHIB-focused Twitter account.

In that, the anon developer said the plan to reveal was taken after careful deliberations with his mentor, and that it is becoming unfeasible to “remain invisible” and “disrupt the industry” at the same time.

The message ends with a remark saying, “then the real fun begins.”

According to sources, the SHIB army and the crypto community agree that Kusama should stop remaining invisible [using his alias] before the end of the year.

Since the inception of Bitcoin, many participants in the crypto sector have maintained their anonymity because utilizing this digital currency provides some level of privacy as long as no one knows the user’s public address. To this day, Satoshi Nakamoto’s real identity is still a mystery.

An essential aspect of the new cultural and technological transformation occurring in online culture is the protection of anonymity and avoiding being doxxed.

This is because there is a constant fight between the free flow of information and maintaining an individual’s privacy.

One of the most contentious identity revelations occurred when writer Kate Notopoulos published a piece titled, “We unearthed the genuine names of Bored Ape Yacht Club’s pseudonymous founders” in which she exposed the identities by using publicly accessible information connected to Yuga Labs.

Whether it be public or private, identity is a highly difficult topic in the crypto-verse. The secret to a more vibrant and diversified crypto community will be striking the right balance between being completely anonymous and having a public identity.

Nevertheless, Shytoshi Kusama’s decision to reveal himself might pave the way for others to follow.

The Shiba Inu ecosystem. meanwhile, has been teeming with important announcements.
