Shiba Inu Team Sparks Interest With Another Eye-Catching Collaboration

Shiba Inu’s prominent member Lucie Sasnikova dropped a major teaser hinting at a potential collaboration with Vodka beverage brand ROCK’N. Her tweet was subsequently retweeted by project lead Shytoshi Kusama.

Community reactions were mixed. Some SHIB supporters were pleasantly amused and got inventive proposing quirky names like “It Should Be Shibodka!”, “SHIBQUILA for me, please! WOOF!,” said another. Others considered vodka to be a wise investment.

However, there were also comments urging the Shiba Inu team to prioritize the layer 2 protocol Shibarium.

In a recent blog post, Kusama shared some significant details regarding upcoming projects and even responded to the query “wen Shibarium,” stating “Very soon.”

Additionally, the builder of the layer 2 Shibarium beta testnet Unification also provided a new update.

The OoO/VOR Shibarium beta testnet is currently a work in progress [WIP], and Unification claimed that it will most likely launch by the end of the month and have all the information made public.

The announcement also spoke for a quicker rollout and adds that the new Sepolia xFUND Test token will be bridged on any future Shibarium public beta testnet.

Besides Shibarium, the Shiba Inu lead said there would be one or two more surprises in the pipeline while emphasizing that the decentralized teams are nearing the completion of Shibarium.

One notable addition was the disclosure of “Worldpaper” which would debut simultaneously with the release of Shibarium or right before.

Shiba Inu Team Member Addresses FUD Over Kusama’s Possible Departure

In the words of Kusama, the “Worldpaper,” will focus on all aspects of SHIB, including the ecosystem of tokens, products, platforms, and services, including, but not limited to, Shib, Bone, Leash, Treat, and Shi, which will be unveiled either concurrently with the launch of Shibarium or just before.

The other day, the enigmatic developer caused a huge uproar when he concluded the blog update on a solemn note, “It’s the first chapter of a goodbye note… as my position, whatever you want to term it,” suggesting exiting from the project.

Sasnikova promptly intervened saying this is not the first time Kusama has said that he will eventually quit and advised people to refrain from producing sensational headlines and promoting FUD.
