Vitalik Buterin
Shiba Inu caused a stir in the cryptocurrency landscape in May 2021, marking its initial notable presence. This occurred when Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum (ETH), carried out an unprecedented SHIB token burn. This operation involved moving an extraordinary 410.24 trillion Shiba Inu tokens, worth $3.41 billion, into an inactive wallet. This maneuver set a new record for the most substantial token transfer in Shiba Inu’s history.
Blaze Token (BLZE)
Blaze Token has surfaced as the second most significant contributor to SHIB token burns in history. The project, propelled by the community, has incinerated a total of 11.70 billion SHIB tokens through several transactions since its establishment in May 2023. This process has amounted to a value of approximately $96,695.
Mysterious Wallet
The enigmatic wallet claimed the third position by conducting a solitary transaction on May 18, 2022, wherein it dispatched 10 billion SHIB tokens, equivalent to $124,300, to the designated burning addresses.
Koyo Token (KOY)
Koyo Token, a token driven by its community, holds the fourth position among the leading SHIB burners to date. Since its establishment in March 2023, the project has effectively eliminated 9.49 billion Shiba Inu tokens, valued at $78,410, through numerous separate transactions, contributing to reducing the tokens in circulation.
MARSWAP (MSWAP)
Established in May 2023, MARSWAP (MSWAP), the inherent token of MARSWAP DEX, has recently reached an important accomplishment. Over the last 24 hours, the Shiba Inu Community has moved 115.41 million SHIB tokens to the inactive wallet across twenty distinct transactions.
However, despite this substantial token burning activity, the Shiba Inu burn rate experienced a sharp decline of -88.61 percent when compared to the preceding day. On August 22, the Community had notably burned a record-breaking 1.01 billion SHIB tokens through 24 separate transactions.
