Shiba Inu’s L-2 Ready To Take Off

February 13, 2024 by Lipika Deka

Something big awaits Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s acclaimed layer 2. “We’re teaming up with some awesome partners to make Shibarium even stronger. With assets like SHIB, BONE, and LEASH, Shibarium is set to take off!” Marketing specialist Lucie shared this exciting update on X. Having recently reached the milestone of three million blocks, Shibarium has established impactful alliances that are expected to be pivotal game-changers.

Our new partnerships show how we’re all in this together, building a platform that changes the game for everyone. But let’s not forget the bigger picture. When the bull run hits, money flows into big players like Bitcoin and major altcoins. Then, it starts trickling down to smaller gems like Shibarium. That’s when we’ll truly shine! So, let’s think ahead and focus on the future. I like to bet on your Shibarium community underdog, who walks like the winner already. You are my chiefs!

The development coincides with a recent announcement by a blockchain infrastructure provider and validator on Shibarium, NOWNodes. While pledging their support for the scaling protocol, the platform revealed in an X post that new projects are currently underway, including numerous tokens that are set to make grand entries in the ecosystem.

The firm also has plans to list these Shibarium-based assets on a wider array of exchanges, both centralized and decentralized. Additionally, NOWNodes intends to contribute to the development of swaps, play-to-earn games, wallets, exchanges, and NFT marketplaces within the Shibarium ecosystem.

Shiba Inu: Shibarium’s Major Twist

One notable revelation was the introduction of a stablecoin within the Shibarium network. Positioned as groundbreaking, this initiative has the potential to transform the landscape, providing users with a stable means of exchange and a secure refuge amid market fluctuations. Although official announcements are pending, the prospect of a stablecoin integrated into Shibarium is considered significant.

Last September, NOWNodes was tasked with deploying Shibarium RPC Full Node, specifically tailored for the Shiba Inu’s layer-2 network. An RPC Full Node serves as a developmental environment that simplifies direct interaction with a blockchain. According to NOWNodes, the innovative tool will open up limitless opportunities for developers and cryptocurrency entities seeking to build on the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
