Solana has broken out of a prolonged falling-wedge pattern, strengthening the bullish outlook as traders watch for confirmation through a successful retest. Meanwhile, Bitwise’s BSOL Solana ETF has surpassed $1 billion in assets, highlighting rising institutional demand and adding another potential catalyst for SOL’s long-term recovery.

Solana (SOL) has broken above a prolonged falling-wedge pattern, signaling improving bullish momentum and renewed buyer interest. A successful retest could strengthen the uptrend, while rising institutional demand through Bitwise’s Solana ETF adds further optimism around SOL’s broader market outlook and potential future expansion.

At the time of writing, SOL is trading at $102.25 with a 24-hour trading volume of $2.81 billion and a market capitalization of $59.74 billion. Despite the signs of stability over the last 24 hours, the SOL price structure and whale accumulation point to a bullish reversal ahead.

Solana Price Breaks Falling Wedge, Eyes $400 Target

According to the crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal, SOL is showing signs of renewed bullish momentum after breaking above a massive falling-wedge formation that had constrained its price for months.

The pattern was characterized by persistent lower highs and tightening price action, reflecting prolonged market uncertainty. The breakout suggests buyers are gaining strength and could signal a potential shift toward a broader bullish trend.

If SOL manages to hold the breakout and retraces the previous resistance wedge as a support level, there is more room for bulls to accumulate additional strength.

Then, traders can consider higher resistance levels where the $400 mark turns out to be a long-term goal. However, validation is also needed since SOL could move down into its consolidation zone.

Bitwise Solana ETF BSOL Surpasses $1 Billion

The data from Arkham further highlighted that the Solana staking ETF from Bitwise, known as BSOL, has managed to cross the $1 billion barrier, thus achieving an important milestone in the institutional adoption of SOL tokens.

This fund has been gaining traction from investors very quickly ever since its launch, thus becoming the biggest Solana ETF in terms of assets under management.

BSOL’s achievement also brings up the issue of future SOL accumulation rate. As the pace of investors’ interest continues to increase, BSOL ETF might need more Solana to be purchased, thus increasing the institutional interest in this digital currency.

Having achieved the first billion-dollar milestone within a year, people are starting to wonder when the second will be reached.

What Comes Next?

The subsequent move for the SOL price will hinge on the ability of SOL to hold the falling-wedge breakout and transform resistance to support.

This will serve to consolidate the bullish sentiment and propel prices to higher levels. However, increased interest in the BSOL ETF can facilitate an institutional buildup of Solana.
