The Shiba Inu ecosystem’s metaverse team is preparing to release the eagerly anticipated Rocket Pond hub teaser on June 8; the exact timing has not yet been announced.
The development follows Metaverse’s consultant Marcie Jastrow who recently shared a major update on its newest hub saying that Rocket Pond received some much-needed enhancements from the team.
She proclaimed that she “cannot wait to show” the Shib Army the newest addition to WAGMI and guaranteed that they “will love it.”
Last September, SHIB’s MV team released the glitzy concept art for its Rocket Pond Metaverse project after asking members for ideas on what they would like to see or do in Rocket Pond,
The setting at Rocket Pond would resemble a hillside resort, YMCA, or KOA campsite, with a combination of modern facilities and tourist attractions, where animal life coexists with crystal-clear rivers, mountaintop resorts, and lush vegetation, according to an official blog post published back then.
Not long ago, the MV team announced that the previews of four hubs would roll out by the month of September, TronWeekly reported. Besides Rocket Pond, the other four hubs include Tech Trench, Ryo Plaza, and WAGMI Temple.
Apart from that, Jastrow also disclosed that Shiba Inu’s metaverse will be released on PC, mobile, and virtual reality [VR].
In response to a user’s query who wanted to know if the disclosure would happen before or after the Shibarium’s mainnet release. A SHIB-focused account replied that the Shiba Inu’s layer two will debut first, followed by Shib the MV Beta [if everything goes according to plan].
Shiba Inu Metaverse Release Roadmap
The SHIB member also stated that all hubs would be developed when asked about the Kennel Club. But it will be done gradually at first. Developers are currently focusing on the first four. The final step is to include the remaining seven.
It needs to be mentioned that the official preview of two other “Shib: TheMetaverse” hubs – Tech Trench and Ryoshi – are also slated to go live this year.
Tech Trench for one is the hub where all huge ideas are generated and will be dotted with structures that were modeled after three important academies- Yale University, the Rolex Learning Center in Switzerland, and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
Meanwhile, the Shibarium launch is imminent as Sasnikova disclosed that the Shiba Inu team has several groups working on the project, including one that integrates AI.
