Tezos, Binance Coin and Bitcoin are The Top-performing Assets Year-to-Date

December 18, 2019 by Tabassum Naiz

The latest finding by crypto influencer Alex Kruger with reference to the leading crypto exchanges, Binance and Bitfinex revealed that Tezos (XTZ), Binance Coin(BNB) and Bitcoin (BTC) are the top-performing assets year to date.

It revealed that XTZ gained 259% year to date whereas Binance’s native token, BNB is up by 100% – notably, Bitcoin which is the largest cryptocurrency stands as the third-largest performing assets with 79% run-up year to date.

The data also revealed the performance of the top 10 cryptocurrencies by comparing their run-up and draw-down ratio. Among the top 10 tokens, noticeably Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), EOS, Binance Coin (BNB), Bitcoin SV (BSV), Tezos (XTZ) and Stellar Lumens (XLM), BNB is the highest runup coin this year followed by LTC and XTZ respectively.

In contrast, LTC saw a major decline of 75% this year, the ratio was then followed by EOS and BNB.

Undoubtedly, the year 2019 didn’t witness the major hike in the trading value of any crypto assets, in fact, the value of Bitcoin experienced a massive price crash at the end of 2019. It’s worth noting that the largest cryptocurrency was trading at over $13K in mid this year and eventually declined to a low of $6661 against USD at the time of reporting this. Other cryptocurrencies equally bleeding their value at press time.

According to the data provided by Coinmarketcap, the top 3 cryptocurrencies performing higher in Year to date data are Tezos (XTZ) which is currently plunging by 8.35 percent within the past 24HRs, dragging the market capitalization$1,086,606,392; followed by BNB which is spotted as the eighth largest spot, counting the market capitalization of $1,978,132,734. Moreover, BNB is currently valued at $12.72 against USD. At last, the crowning cryptocurrency Bitcoin is plummeting 3.90 percent of its value and holding the market capitalization of $120,622,092,441.

Given these analyses, predicting the value of crypto assets for 2020 is certainly difficult. So readers, what’s your prediction for the crypto market in 2020?
