If you’re not aware of the No Middle Man Crypto platform, you should be because it’s fascinating so let us bring you up to speed.

It’s a crypto payments platform that allows businesses to accept payments in digital assets basically without installing, anything. The website’s pitch is “No fees, no registration, no logins, no middleman.” As long as you know and control your wallet addresses, you can use this service. And that’s it.

Nomiddlemancrypto is 100 based on open-sourced software so that you can have a look at the code yourself at the project’s Github web page. It supports 43 cryptocurrencies as a means of payment. The setup process is incredibly simple because it needs no API key. You just enter your wallet’s address, and that’s it. The plugin is free to use because it doesn’t need a paid membership, and it remains open as you use it because it charges no fees at all.

The platform’s first product is a cryptocurrency payment gateway for Woocommerce. It enables merchants using WooCommerce to adopt cryptocurrency payments using the same nomiddleman’s philosophy.

Among the currencies supported are Litecoin, Tron, Monero, Iota, Cardano, Stellar Lumens, Ripple’s XRP, ZCash, Bitcoin, Binance Coin, Dash, EOS, Dogecoin, Ethereum, and many others.

The platform’s current marketing strategy is singular. A Reddit user called nomiddleman is posting comments in cryptocurrency-related groups as if the message was relevant to the group’s discussion. Which, of course, it’s not. It’s a short message, so no much harm is done, but Reddit users who are really serious about keeping the discussion in their groups kosher and free from marketers are annoyed by this kind of ads disguised as relevant contributions.

Of course, some users are confusing the message for real content meant to kickstart real discussion, which is not. That’s what annoys serious users the most.

But still, some Reddit users found it cool and praised the work even after the aggressive marketing of the group. One user who goes by joluca03 username said,

This is awesome!!! Great tool to help with Crypto Mass adoption. THANKS

Consequently, as they say, there’s no such thing as bad publicity, and the payments platform is indeed getting some attention, so the chances are that we’ll keep seeing this kind of toxic marketing going around in the cryptosphere. Agreeably, the idea of the product looks promising. Can it trigger crypto mass adoption? Only the time will tell.
