Chinese crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun whose Twitter profile recently got caught with the controversies and allegation of paid followers – announced the winner of a 64G iPhone 11 today.

Today, on Sept 25th, Justin Sun tagged a random Twitter user and congratulated him on winning a 64G iPhone 11. Although the process of selecting the winner remains unseen, it is more likely that the team behind Tron made selection randomly – as the tweet reads “you’re our lucky winner,” mentioning the Twitter account of the winner whose handle goes by ‘@bathyon23’.
It is worth noting, there wasn’t any specific campaign promoting Sun’s project instead iPhone 11 was given based on the retweets that Sun has received on its Periscope Livestream link. With that being said, critics claim, right now neither the crypto community is believing Sun nor receiving any of his announcements on a serious note.
This isn’t the first time though, previously in March this year, the crypto community labeled Sun and his so-called announcements as a scam and nothing more than “Marketing Stunt.” If you’re keeping eyes on the price graph of Tron as well as the Twitter profile of Justin Sun, Tesla gives away, Buffett lunch, kidney stones, and a deleted apology were quite famous incidents in the history of Tron that one might not forget.
To cut a long story short, in Mid March 2019, a twitter user named @uzgaroth was announced as the Winner of Tesla giveaway. But things didn’t go as expected, and the winner did not receive the electric car, Tesla.
Instead of Tesla, the winner @uzgaroth got a fully-paid return ticket to the Nitron 2020 event. At that time, Justin explained his failure to keep the promise was due to technical issues. Later Lee Huynh got announced as another Tesla winner.
Tech Entrepreneur and CEO of TRON was criticized for not keeping his words. Followed by which Justin informed he would pay USD equivalent for Tesla cars to both the winners whereas the CEO paid only $28000, which is not even the starting price of the latest Tesla models.
As for the latest (a 64G iPhone 11 announcement), it remains unclear whether the winner actually received the price Justin Sun announced today (Sept 25) because the winner hasn’t acknowledged or replied to Sun’s announcement yet. Anyhow, congratulations to the winner and let’s see if this story ends right here or there is more to come.
