ZEC Price Signals Reversal After Channel Bounce

According to the crypto analyst Crypto Yoda, the ZEC price is showing renewed bullish momentum after rebounding from the lower boundary of a descending channel, a pattern closely watched by technical analysts.

According to analysts, any attempt to move above the upper line of the channel will show the beginning of a positive trend reversal and support optimism about the future of the ZEC price.

Such a breakout may attract new buyers and help the digital currency make a further move up to the $550-$600 level.

Zcash Ironwood Upgrade Introduces New Shielded Pool

The data from Wu Blockchain further highlighted that Ironwood’s upgrade of the Zcash network is expected to be deployed by the 3,428,143 block height on July 28.

The Ironwood upgrade is aimed at improving the privacy and security features of the network by making changes such as introducing a shielded pool based on quantum recoverable notes. The upgrades will ensure that the network is better equipped to handle any future cryptographic difficulties.

Ironwood comes equipped with a turnstile system to verify the validity of ZEC once transferred into the newly introduced shielded pool.

The security measure addresses concerns over a potential counterfeit loophole in the previously existing Orchard pool, ensuring more accurate supply numbers, network transparency, and longevity of the Zcash privacy network.

Despite the bullish price predictions and network upgrade, the ZEC price is moving in a neutral territory. However, the general trend in the crypto market is also stable, and a bullish reversal could be witnessed in the ZEC price if bullish momentum ignited.

What Comes Next?

In terms of future prospects, the ZEC price will require breaking above the resistance of the falling channel to signal the establishment of a durable bullish reversal and continue the recovery.

On top of that, the successful implementation of the Ironwood upgrade could increase confidence among investors by improving the features of privacy, security, and supply verification.
