AAVE price is approaching a critical resistance level near $105 after recovering from recent lows. Analysts say a confirmed breakout could strengthen bullish momentum and shift attention toward higher targets, while failure to clear resistance may trigger another test of key support around $90.

AAVE price continued to attract market attention after extending its recovery, with technical indicators pointing to an important test near the $105 resistance level.

Currently, AAVE is trading at $95.49, gaining 0.60% over the past 24 hours. AAVE also recorded $333.28 million in daily trading volume while maintaining a $1.47 billion market capitalization and 0.07% share of the overall cryptocurrency market.

AAVE Price Tests Crucial $105 Resistance

According to a recent post by crypto analyst Crypto Patel, AAVE is still trading within a bullish flag pattern that has remained intact after bouncing from channel support around $88.

The analyst believes that the AAVE price structure remains positive as long as the AAVE price continues holding above key support levels. The next major level to watch is $105, which could determine whether the recovery extends further.

A successful move above $105 on a higher-timeframe closing basis would confirm the bullish flag pattern and could rally toward $141, based on the projected technical target. However, if buyers fail to regain that resistance, the AAVE price could revisit the $90 demand zone, where the market may decide its next direction.

AAVE Price Recovery Signals Strength After June Rebound

The recovery from $60 has created a series of higher lows, a technical pattern often associated with strengthening buying pressure. Each pullback has been smaller than the previous one, indicating that sellers have gradually lost control while buyers continue defending higher price levels.

Technical analysts also view the RSI remaining above its midpoint as another positive sign. While momentum indicators alone do not guarantee higher prices, they often show whether buying interest is increasing. In AAVE’s case, improving momentum has supported the token’s climb back toward an important resistance area.

The $100 to $105 region now represents one of the most significant technical barriers. It marks both the recent local high and an area where sellers previously entered the market. A confirmed breakout above this range could shift attention toward $110, followed by the larger target near $141 highlighted in Crypto Patel’s analysis.

On the flip side, failing to break through this resistance level can cause a delay in the recovery process. The analysts say that returning to the $90 support level will not mean the end of the overall recovery trend; however, moving below this level could put extra pressure on the sellers. Daily closure below $75 will undermine the overall recovery setup, with $60 becoming the target again.

Why the $105 Level Matters for AAVE

Technical analysis is critical as AAVE is one of the largest lending platforms in decentralized finance (DeFi). Price movements in major DeFi tokens are often watched closely by investors looking for signs of improving confidence across the broader DeFi sector.

AAVE breaking above $105 may reinforce the belief that recovery from the low witnessed in June is still underway and generate further buying pressure. The potential upside may boost sentiment within other cryptocurrencies within the lending and DeFi space since AAVE is considered to be the leading platform.
