ADA Price Eyes $0.40 as Recovery Gains Momentum and Network Activity Rises

Cardano’s ADA price is gaining momentum as buyers push toward the key $0.40 resistance level. Improving RSI and MACD readings, rising network activity, and sustained developer engagement are strengthening the recovery narrative, although a rejection near resistance could trigger short-term profit-taking before the next directional move.

Cardano (ADA) recovery is gaining momentum as buyers push the ADA price toward major resistance. Improving technical indicators, stronger developer activity, and rising network usage are supporting the broader bullish outlook. A successful breakout could extend the recovery, while rejection may lead to temporary profit-taking and consolidation.

At the time of writing, ADA is trading at $0.2204 with a 24-hour trading volume of $427.99 million and a market capitalization of $8.09 billion. However, the ADA price has surged by 3.17% over the last 24 hours.

ADA Rally Gains Strength Near Major Resistance

The crypto analyst Rekt Capital revealed that the ADA price has extended its recovery with a powerful rally, gaining around 69% since first being highlighted on an altcoin watchlist.

The surge represents a major improvement in market structure, with buyers pushing ADA away from its previous demand zone and sustaining momentum as the cryptocurrency moves toward a key resistance area near $0.40.

The advance can be viewed as a post-breakout relief rally, carrying the ADA price from the former green support region toward the blue resistance zone. The $0.40 area could now determine the next phase of the trend.

A decisive breakout above resistance may strengthen bullish momentum, while rejection could trigger profit-taking and a temporary pullback.

The technicals confirm the resumption of the uptrend. The RSI stands at 60.72, indicating that there is continued strength on the buying side without entering into overbought levels.

At the same time, the MACD indicator indicates the meeting of the blue line with the orange one, moving in a rising manner towards a positive crossover.

Cardano Ranks Among Top Layer-1 Developers

Market watcher Everstake pointed out that Cardano keeps improving its ranking on the list of actively developing Layer-1 blockchain ecosystems due to the latest developer metrics reflecting continuous construction.

There were more than 1,100 code commits in the last 30 days, which makes Cardano rank third in the world among Layer-1 blockchain ecosystems and constitutes around 4.3% of overall sector development.

It is clear that Cardano’s data confirms the infrastructure-based approach of the project, which means that consistent engineering is the key factor in the strategy of this blockchain project.

However, even if the activities of developers cannot ensure the growth of the ADA price, their further efforts can bring positive results in the future.

Cardano Transactions Surge as Activity Picks Up

The data from Chainspect further highlighted that Cardano is starting the weekend in good shape, thanks to its increased on-chain activity since the number of users on its network has surged by 16%.

The number of transactions on its network has surpassed 27,000 during the last 24 hours, and it is the busiest day for its network in the last week.

This uptick in transactions is indicative of increased action on one of the most decentralized blockchain networks in the cryptocurrency space.

Even though an upsurge in the number of transactions in the short term does not necessarily point to a long-term trend, increasing transactions may be suggestive of increasing involvement and increased utility of the network.

What Happens Next?

The next step for Cardano will depend on whether or not the buyers are able to sustain their upward momentum against the resistance at $0.40.

If they manage to break out, it could be good for the bulls and allow for an even bigger rebound for the ADA price. In the meantime, growing adoption and development might be good for Cardano’s outlook.
