AERO Price Breaks Giant Wedge Structure
Aerodrome (AERO) has been showing signs of a potentially significant technical breakout after forming a giant wedge pattern since its inception.
Crypto analyst Time Freedom said the structure has now broken higher, while the Relative Strength Index has also broken its downtrend and moved above 50. The setup points to improving momentum and renewed buyer participation.

The analyst described the move as a possible start of a bullish phase, framing the breakout as “Green Candle Air Lines” with a first-class journey higher.
Time Freedom identified $12.50 as an upside target if the breakout holds and buying pressure continues. However, reaching that level would depend on sustained momentum and broader market conditions.

Aerodrome Holder Returns to Gain Attention
AERO’s improving technical structure comes as fundamental activity around the Aerodrome continues to attract attention.
Crypto analyst Nazoku highlighted that Aerodrome shared more than $12 million in profits with holders during the third quarter. At the same time, the platform’s market capitalization was around $666 million, according to the figures cited by the analyst.
Nazoku’s comparison focused on Aerodrome’s value distribution model, arguing that some competing platforms trade at substantially higher valuations while providing less direct value to holders.
The observation has strengthened the value-investing narrative surrounding AERO, although valuation comparisons can change quickly as token prices, protocol revenue, liquidity, and broader decentralized exchange activity fluctuate.
Whale Withdrawals Support AERO Momentum
The whales have also contributed to the new wave of momentum being witnessed recently in AERO.
From the latest market update, it is revealed that two big holders pulled out of AERO from the exchange Coinbase a total of $4.91 million in just 11 hours, which saw the crypto rise in price by a further 3%, making it four days straight.

Withdrawals on a large scale from exchanges could be noticeable, as they could potentially result in reduced liquidity on the sell side when tokens get transferred to wallets.
But there is no reason why they should signal accumulation or ensure price growth in the future. Whether AERO will be able to preserve its upward momentum will depend on many factors.
Tokenized Stock Activity Expands on Base
Token Terminal statistics, however, showed that tokenized stock trading was experiencing significant growth at Base.
Decentralized exchange spot volume of tokenized stocks exceeded the $1 billion level in the last 30 days, having increased by 830.5% compared to the previous 30 days. This expansion offers additional information regarding the growing relevance of Aerodrome at Base.

Aerodrome is responsible for about $852.7 million worth of trading on tokenized stock spot DEX volumes, based on the data provided.
This percentage puts the protocol right in the middle of one of the most rapidly growing areas of Base’s decentralized trading infrastructure. More growth in tokenized stocks could generate more business for Aerodrome going forward.
135K AERO Buyback Adds Supply-Side Support
The protocol level is also getting bolstered by the buyback scheme that is being executed by Aerodrome. According to the data provided by Aero, 135,000 AERO have been purchased and max-locked by the Aerodrome PGF through market-aware buybacks.
This model is based on a rule-based mechanism, which is able to modify its strategy according to the market.

The max-locking function is pertinent here since tokens that have been bought out can be locked up within the protocol as opposed to being immediately released back into the open market.
How significant this function will be in the long run will depend on the future frequency of the buyback program and the size of such buybacks.
What Happens Next for AERO?
The AERO price may test the breakout area depending on how the move holds above the previous resistance level of the wedge. Buying activity, accumulation from whales, and share buybacks might help maintain the positive technical setup.
In case of continued momentum, the focus may be on the $12.50 level target, while failure may result in testing of support levels.
