ALGO price setup is drawing attention as Algorand continues to record higher lows and higher highs on the chart. Analysts highlighted the structure in a recent post, pointing to a series of technical developments that could determine whether the token extends its current move.
At the same time, activity across the Algorand network is providing additional fundamental context for the ALGO price outlook. The network has recorded growing usage through the x402 payment standard, reflecting increased activity in payments and on-chain transactions.

ALGO Price Forms Higher Lows as Target Zones Come Into Focus
Jesse Olson’s analysis focuses on the structure of the ALGO price rather than a single isolated price target. According to his chart commentary, ALGO continues to print higher lows and higher highs, suggesting that buyers have been able to defend progressively higher levels during the current formation.
The analyst also pointed out that the bullish divergence has been cleared, followed by the bearish divergence being cleared. This removes two previously identified divergence signals from the immediate setup and leaves the price structure itself as a key factor for determining the next move.

The next section of the chart includes four target boxes picked up from below. As per Olson, two of the four targets have already been achieved, and the orange box is the fourth target. Olson’s post also suggests the chance of knowing whether the current setup would be formed till the end of September.
This period is just an analysis done by the analyst and not the prediction made. The future course of action for ALGO will depend upon whether the coin follows its trend of higher lows.

Who does it affect?
The technical aspects are important mainly for the traders analyzing ALGO’s price performance, but the blockchain-related statistics offer extra information for the investors assessing the growth of the blockchain adoption.
The x402 stats from the Algorand Foundation indicate increasing interest in machine-to-machine and payments-focused transactions. Over 1 million settlements have been executed and over 2 million on-chain transactions processed using the GoPlausible x402 Facilitator, with over 1,000 unique payers involved and settlement volume exceeding $300,000.

These numbers do not necessarily mean increased ALGO demand or that the token will become more valuable. However, they represent a quantifiable indicator that shows trading activity on the blockchain and form an integral part of the technical conversation.
When it comes to the ALGO price forecast, this is crucial. While the bullish pattern may attract the interest of the traders, the actual network utilization rate can serve as another benchmark for gauging its growth.
Post-Quantum Upgrade Supports Algorand’s Fundamentals
The latest protocol development at Algorand is yet another point to follow. The network launched its own support for post-quantum accounts using Algorand 5.0, including Falcon-1024 account signatures. This was accompanied by larger transactions along with per-byte transaction fees and AVM v13.
The roadmap of the Foundation after 2027 will ensure that there is more quantum resilience. The roadmap will include post-quantum accounts, post-quantum multisignatures, and more research on quantum-resistant elements of the consensus mechanism.
According to the technical documentation of Algorand itself, the native Falcon-1024 accounts were launched on the mainnet in August 2026 after the v5.0.0 network upgrade. Moreover, the foundation is also working on the development of post-quantum multisignatures and consensus security, etc.
This adds more to the ALGO token price narrative than just the technical element. Network transactions and protocol updates can be used as indicators of ecosystem development, but neither of them guarantees token appreciation.
What happens next?
The next stage of the ALGO price pattern will rely on how the higher low or higher high pattern identified by Olson holds up. The targets identified by Olson on his chart after two of the four boxes have been achieved will also come under scrutiny for traders.
If ALGO is able to preserve its technical formation further, the target levels mentioned above may start playing their role in the near future. In case of a breakdown below the series of higher lows, we will need to reconsider our chart formation.
In addition, growth in x402 token transfers, transactions, and unique users would be more signs of network usage. The introduction of Algorand’s quantum-resistant blockchain can also give the ecosystem a long-term development driver to watch.
For now, the technical view on ALGO’s price action includes the formation of higher highs and higher lows with visible growth of network activity. The big question here is whether it will be possible to maintain the current technical pattern as Algorand expands its ecosystem usage through payments and protocol activity.
