Aster’s price is hovering near $0.71 as Perpetual Grid 2.0 goes live, offering a fresh trading incentive worth as much as 140,000 ASTER. This campaign arrives while ASTER continues to trade above its key moving averages, even though momentum has faded from the stronger readings recorded earlier in September.

At the time of writing, Aster is changing hands at $0.7102, a decline of 1.92% over the last 24 hours. The token has retreated from its September peaks, yet the daily chart indicates the price is still sitting above the 50-day and 200-day moving averages.

Aster Price Remains Above Key Moving Averages
According to the TradingView chart, the 50-day moving average sits at $0.6644 and the 200-day moving average is at $0.6940. ASTER is still trading above both, providing buyers with two key reference levels should the current pullback persist.
The chart additionally reveals resistance near $0.7119, just above the present price. Breaking above that level might refocus attention on the recent highs, whereas slipping under $0.6940 would put the 200-day moving average under pressure.
ASTER’s RSI reads 48.45, while the RSI moving average is at 53.62. The indicator has dipped below the neutral 50 mark, signaling that short-term momentum has eased.
At this reading, the RSI does not suggest an oversold market. Rather, it reflects a more balanced picture in which buyers must rebuild momentum to drive ASTER back toward its recent highs.

How Might Grid 2.0 Influence the Aster Price?
Aster’s official announcement unveils a four-week Perpetual Grid 2.0 Liquidity Mining Campaign that runs from September 28 to October 25. The campaign offers a total reward pool of up to 140,000 ASTER, starting with a base allocation of 10,000 ASTER each week.
Aster’s official X post highlights the incentive with the phrase “Share Up to 140K $ASTER in Rewards”, while also stating “No registration needed.” This makes the campaign accessible to both new and existing eligible users without a separate registration process.
Rewards are paid out hourly based on each qualifying Grid’s portion of total eligible trading volume.
The campaign launches with POLYMARKET/USD1, META/USD1 and OURA/USD1, and Aster notes that further pairs could be added or swapped out while the campaign is running.
With the Grid 2.0 upgrade, users can now operate Grid strategies at the same time as manual Perpetual trades, and they can handle their Grid positions independently.
Traders have the option of Cross Margin or Isolated Margin, and the platform supports as many as 50 Isolated Grid strategies per account.
Can the Aster Price Hold Its $0.69 Support Level?
The $0.6940 mark carries special significance since it coincides with the 200-day moving average. Staying above this zone would keep ASTER above a key longer-term benchmark, whereas a decisive break beneath it could direct attention to the 50-day moving average of $0.6644.
According to CoinGlass data, Aster’s open interest sits at roughly $330 million, which is under the September peak of about $390 million displayed on the chart.
This suggests that derivatives positioning remains substantial, although it has eased from its September peak as the price has pulled back.
What Should Traders Keep an Eye On Next for Aster Price?
When it comes to the Aster price, the key nearby levels are $0.7119 to the upside and $0.6940 to the downside. Breaking through resistance would send a clearer signal that buyers are coming back, while dropping below the 200-day moving average could put additional pressure on the price toward the 50-day level.
The Grid 2.0 campaign provides Aster with a fresh activity catalyst as the platform works to draw in Perpetual Grid trading volume.
Even so, the 140,000 ASTER amount is the campaign’s maximum pool and not a promised return, and Aster notes that Grid trading offers no guarantee of profits.
Since RSI is close to neutral and open interest remains below its September peak, the next price movement hinges on whether buying activity can lift ASTER past resistance or whether sellers push it back down toward its moving-average support.
